On Wednesday, the reality star, 26, claimed her bag had been taken by thieves while she was on the underground during a girls' day.
But she has since posted a video claiming that in fact her bag wasn’t stolen and somebody had kindly handed it into lost property.
Lauren said on on Thursday: 'I literally feel like such a clumsy idiot right now.
'Yesterday I was convinced my bag was stolen, I was panicking, I was retracing every step, I was thinking the absolute worst case scenario as we all do.

'My faith in humanity has been fully restored. Actually turns out someone has kindly handed my bag in and I’ve got the bag back.
'I’m honestly so, so relieved and super grateful for the person that kindly handed it in coz it goes to show there are really kind, honest people out there.'
She continued: 'I feel like when something like that happens, you think the worst case scenario and [I] definitely did.
'Sorry for the drama, I was in absolute meltdown mode, as you can imagine and as anyone would be.
'Secondly, to the person who handed it in, I cannot thank you enough and you have genuinely restored my faith in people today.
'Thirdly, to the person who DM’d me because without that DM, none of this would have even been possible and I cannot ever tell you how grateful I am for that message because without that, it wouldn’t have been possible and this is why social media can be so, so good.'

After browsing the selection of 'lovely pieces' on display at The Londoner hotel in Leicester Square, Lauren and her friend picked up a Hugo Spritz and went to the balcony, when she first realised her bag was missing.
Lauren said: 'I looked at Char, in a sheer state of panic in my eyes. I couldn't believe it. Literally sat and realised my bag was not on my shoulder.
'I immediately started looking around the gifting place, like have I put it on a rail, or what have I done with it?
'The staff were looking for it, the security were looking for it. And we said to them, "Can you look at the cameras?"
'Five minutes later, the guy comes back, he's been to look at the CCTV cameras and he said to me: "You did not walk in the hotel with an LV bag."'

Lauren was then stunned to realise that the bag had already vanished by the time she arrived at The Londoner.
She urged her followers at the time to 'keep your stuff safe when you're in central London'.
Lauren was famously coupled up with Harrison Solomon on Love Island and dated him for three months after leaving the villa.
