Kylie Minogue Teams Up with Tarantino in Porthcawl

Yet has swapped Ramsay Street for Hollywood royalty as she was spotted filming new movie Tangled Up In Blue in Welsh seaside town Porthcawl alongside legendary moviemaker .

The duo were spotted laughing and holding hands while filming a post-funeral scene while shooting the movie for British film-maker Jamie Adams, having shot the funeral at a church in the nearby village of Newton.

They sat on a bench while having a drink with the tumbling greenery behind them as they engaged warmly in easy conversation for the picturesque scene. 

In between scenes, Kylie wore sunglasses before wrapping up in a Dryrobe shortly before returning to larking around in front of the screens.

The pair frolicked in front of the camera 

BBC Wales reported that Tarantino was seen on Friday in the Parkgate Hotel in Cardiff, having a drink with film crew. 

Tangled Up In Blue also stars Jason Isaacs, Allison Williams, Sofia Boutella, and RZA, along with Welsh actors Julian Lewis Jones, Craig Russell, Siwan Morris, and Karen Paullada, as confirmed by Variety. 

Variety reports that the project is a new film by Jamie, who previously cast Quentin in Only What We Carry, which premiered on 6 June at the Tribeca film festival in NYC.

Only What We Carry is described as 'an improvisational drama shot in six days on the Normandy coast', and stars Charlotte Gainsbourg as a dancer and Simon Pegg as her choreographer, with Quentin appearing in a small role as 'a wealthy benefactor'. 

Jamie said he sent Quentin the script for Only What We Carry, before meeting him over Zoom and persuading him to appear.

He recalled: 'I sent him the story outline and a letter. I was just very honest about believing in him as an actor. Improvisation, the way I use it, is about being present and reacting organically...

The duo were engaged in conversation in between takes 

'He’s one of the greatest conversational storytellers. I thought that would be incredible in character. I didn’t think I’d hear back. But two weeks later, on a Sunday, his agent emailed saying Quentin was intrigued and wanted a Zoom.'

Quentin is currently in the UK to prepare his first West End play which will open in early 2027.

Away from her new project, Kylie was sent down memory lane while working on the Netflix documentary about her life - and drew closer to her ex-boyfriend Jason Donovan in the process.

The pair played onscreen lovers Charlene and Scott Robinson in the Aussie soap Neighbours, and went on to date in real life for three years, before splitting in 1989.

She looked chic in her funeral attire as she left the building 

And the Australian singer and her former co-star bonded over sharing videos and photos from their past during the production of the new special, Kylie told The Sydney Morning Herald this week.

When asked if she and Aussie actor Jason, 58, were 'good mates' these days, the 58-year-old replied: 'Yeah, yeah, we are.'

The pop star continued: 'I've texted him some doozies while I was looking through all the old photos and video footage of us together. I told him he better start collecting things for his doco.'
