Hollywood Icon, 60, Stuns on Rare Outing

An iconic American-South African actress showed off her wrinkle-free visage on a rare public outing this week.

The star developed her chops in Cape Town, where she performed in stage productions of Romeo and Juliet and Silent Night.

She's gone on to have an illustrious Hollywood career, which took off in the 90s after she appeared as Helen Hirsch in Schindler's List. 

In 1996 she portrayed the beloved Miss Honey in the iconic children's film Matilda, starring alongside .

She counts as a co-star, with the two solving otherworldly crimes in the 1998 drama Fallen. And she's made two guest appearances in .

Now 60, she made her directorial debut with the film adaptation of Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight, which premiered at the 2024 Telluride Film Festival.
