Boy George Calls Out Dorit Kemsleys Fathers Day Post

And last year in April, Kemsley officially filed for divorce and cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reasoning for the split. 

The reality star also requested spousal support, as well as sole legal and physical custody of their children. 

Her divorce filing had come just one day after PK was spotted in Beverly Hills sharing a passionate public kiss with Shana Wall, an ex-girlfriend of Ryan Seacrest. 

And earlier this year in April, her ex went public with his new romance with Tatiana Kharchylava, which had left Kemsley 'blindsided.' 

'It's very new. I learned about this girlfriend when the rest of the world did, even though he and I were communicating,' the mom-of-two . 

'And there was no reason for him, you know, not to tell me.' 

The RHOBH star added, 'But I think sometimes, certain people, when you're in an acrimonious divorce, they enjoy the element of blindsiding or... you know, to be honest with you, I want him to be happy. And if they're both happy, that's wonderful.'

Kemsley explained that she has yet to meet PK's new beau, but said the couple were introduced through Boy George. 

In her divorce filing, the Connecticut native requested sole legal and physical custody of their children. PK responded asking for joint custody. 

She noted that it has been a 'constant struggle' for them to find their footing with co-parenting. 

The star said that she wants sole custody because she's 'the primary parent in their lives' and if she needs to sign off on something and PK's not around, then she needs to have those rights as a parent to make those decisions.

'That wasn't to keep PK away from the kids,' she insisted. 'On the contrary, I want him to see the kids as much as he'd like.' 

In a past episode of RHOBH, Kemsley suggested PK was a bad father.

He firmly dismissed claims of being a bad parent, calling them 'nonsense' and 'not true.' PK has also declined to further comment on his children since he does not discuss them publicly.

In the latest court filings from last month, text messages between Kemsley and PK were released. 

The exchanges showed the pair feuding over various issues, including their mortgage payment - their $6 million Los Angeles mansion is reportedly facing foreclosure -her lavish spending... and about Tatiana seemingly getting in the way.

Kemsley told the Daily Mail that it's 'difficult to go through a divorce' and that going through it publicly is 'so hard and it's really challenging.'

'It's why I really wanted for PK and I to have a friendship,' she said.

'My hope is that we can both put everything else to the side and make the kids a priority,' the TV personality continued. 

'And I keep telling him, "We don't need to be enemies. There's no reason." And I think if we loved each other very much and we were great friends, I would love to see us back in that place.'

Kemsley recently released her memoir titled Unburdened on June 2 which gives readers a closer look at her time on RHOBH, her life behind the camera as well as the end of her marriage.
