One of 's former assistants is talking about why she quit working for the billionaire.
This week Victoria Villarroel explained the departure.
The budding influencer, 34, worked as the 28-year-old makeup mogul for many years when Jenner was first developing her brand. But Villarroel quit in January 2020.
When talking to the Better Half With Stas + Alexis podcast on Thursday Villarroel said it all came down to being too close as friends.
'We were in the kitchen and [Jenner] was like, "Vic, I need my laptop, it's upstairs,"' she began.
'And I was like, "Oof, who's gonna get that?"' she laughed. 'I said something crazy like, "Oof, that seems far, I don't want to go get your laptop."'

And that was very un-assistant of her.
'Obviously me and Kylie had a working relationship, but you can't not get so close with a person you see every single day,' Victoria said of her relationship with Kylie.
'You know everything about them, you're with them at all times — good or bad.'
The star said that she and Kylie looked at each other when it 'got to that point,' and they both realized that their working relationship needed to end.
'I remember being so nervous and thinking, "Am I making the right decision? What if I'm leaving the best job I could ever have?"' she recalled.
She also noted that people 'in [her] ear' telling her not to leave the job that 'people would die for.'
She finally talked to the reality TV star about quitting her job.

In February, Villarroel and Jenner were seen together at Nahmias x Maxfield Host Pop Up Event held at the Maxfield store in Los Angeles. Also seen were Anastasia Karanikolaou, Zack Ashley and Doni Nahmias
'She the most understanding person, she was like, "Oh my God, Vic, I want you to thrive and I'm going to be here supporting you and I love you so much,"' Villarroel said Jenner told her.
She left her post as Jenner's assistant in January 2020 but the two are still close friends and are often seen out together.
In February, Villarroel and Jenner were seen together at Nahmias x Maxfield Host Pop Up Event held at the Maxfield store in Los Angeles.
