In his first major interview since settling with the broadcaster for $12 million, the shock jock unloaded on the 2GB breakfast host during an appearance on The GameChangers podcast with Craig Bruce and Irene Hulme.
Sandilands claimed tensions erupted after Fordham publicly criticised the size of his radio deal following ARN's dramatic decision to terminate his contract earlier this year.

'Ben was one of those media mates that aren't really your mates,' Sandilands said.
'He was like, 'It was outrageous, it was never going to last … terrible mathematics, who would be worth $200 million? It's ridiculous!'
Sandilands said he was furious when Fordham later invited him onto his radio show despite his public commentary.

'Then he'd send me a text saying, 'Mate, do you want to come on?' Sandilands recalled.
'And I said, 'No, you're being a c**t about it, f**k you.' Then he wrote back, 'Don't be a sook.''
That message pushed Sandilands over the edge.

'You want a slap, watch your mouth! I don't put up with his bulls**t,' Sandilands said.
Fordham has since fired back on-air after hearing the comments on the GameChangers podcast.
'Kyle has had a crack at little old me,' Fordham told listeners.
'You can slap me anytime, sweetheart.'

Fordham went on to accuse Sandilands of indulging in 'aggressive fantasies', claiming the exchange ended with him telling Sandilands to 'toughen the f**k up'.

Sandilands also spoke on the podcast about his legal battle with ARN after the broadcaster tore up both his and Jackie 'O' Henderson's contracts following their on-air dispute earlier this year.

The radio star revealed he had already spent around $1 million on legal fees and was advised he could potentially win between $35 million and $45 million if the case continued through the courts.
However, he ultimately chose to settle for $12 million after deciding he no longer wanted the lengthy legal fight hanging over his family, and is now focusing on launching his new project, Kyle Sandilands Live.
The ARN Media settlement closes a bitter chapter following the termination of Kyle's $100 million contract after the collapse of KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O Show in March.
It was previously reported that the radio shock jock would receive $15 million over the next three years as part of the agreement.
However, according to an ASX statement released on Wednesday morning, ARN has actually agreed to pay Sandilands $12.09 million.
The total payout is a fraction of the sum Sandilands was demanding, with the radio star previously indicating he was owed as much as $85 million for the remainder of his massive contract term.
