In a strange turn of events in the five-month long marriage, which Katie has likened to a soap opera, the glamour model, 47, alleged on Sunday that her husband has been declared missing in the UAE after failing to fly back to the UK from .
In a video, Katie said she had not spoken to Lee since Wednesday and despite ongoing rumours he had been arrested, she insisted during their last conversation he was tied up and said: 'I've just been captured or arrested’.
She added that she had been in contact with the 'head of CID in Dubai' who was unable to locate him but confirmed he had 'not been detained'.
While Katie seemed genuinely convinced of the claims, a host of holes appear in his story - with fans questioning how he would call Katie with tied hands and why he would have called his UK-based wife rather than police.
On top of the mystery call, Lee appeared to be active on social media on Thursday as he turned off the comments on a number of his Instagram posts just days after he was outed for lying about being at Muscat Airport in Oman.

Fans have further voiced concern over the possibility of Katie being asked for a ransom, amid claims Lee has defrauded a number of partners, while a video has seen Katie ask the media for help in tracking down the self-professed millionaire.

DUBAI CID AND THE FLIGHT BAN
Katie was insistent in her video that she had been working alongside police officials in Dubai who had declared Lee missing.
She said: 'The last time I heard from Lee was Wednesday night at 10pm, he was trying to go through the border in Dubai to get on a flight to me...
'Lee was trying to get through the border at Hatta, this is so discombobulating, his location went off at 10.03pm on Wednesday night, that's the last contact anyone has had – his family and myself.'
On Saturday, she had been in touch with the 'head of CID in Dubai' who was attempting to locate Lee, but so far hadn't been successful, prompting her to fear he may have been 'kidnapped'.
She said: 'We are now wondering, as far-fetched as it is, that he's a missing person now, I don't know if he's been kidnapped. No one can find him in any prison, any police station, the police can't find any record of him...
'We are wondering if he's been kidnapped, he's definitely a missing person now. I'm wondering if he's been kidnapped because he was by the border.'

She said: 'The unsettling thing for me, the last time I heard from him, he FaceTimed me, he had a hood on and said, "I've just been captured or arrested" and had ties around his hand, not handcuffs, and said "They're coming back for me".'
After Katie shared the video, across most social media platforms, fans questioned why a victim of kidnapping would have their phone or be able to use the device while having their hands tied up and head covered.
X users wrote: 'How do u still manage to facetime with ties on your hands. FaceTime in handcuffs is crazy work... Cable ties and a hood but he has his phone.'
One of her YouTube followers added: 'So the kidnappers let him use his phone for abit & instead of calling the police he called you? ok'.
Lee's ex-girlfriend Alana Percival has been extremely vocal about her ex, whom she claimed scammed her and a number of women out of money .
On a video speaking about Lee, one of her followers wrote: 'So apparently he’s gone missing. But managed to FaceTime her but with his wrists tied and a hood on. He whispered… they’re coming back. REALLY ?!?!
Over the weekend, Alana questioned if he has 'faked' his own kidnapping after being 'backed into a corner' by wife Katie.
Writing a statement on a black screen, Alana wrote: 'Has he faked his own kidnapping? I would if I was him knowing that I'm about to open some doors! In my eye all just one big joke he is just playing his sick games.'

SOCIAL MEDIA STUNT
Before revealing her kidnap concerns, on Friday, Katie vowed to stand by beleaguered Lee and revealed he is taking a step back from social media to maintain their privacy after the latest chaotic week in her shotgun marriage.
She wrote: 'Due to all the madness of trolling, people's speculation and media frenzy that as a couple we have both decided Lee is taking a break from social media...
'We are keeping things between us for now as it's our life and marriage and are very happy.' [sic] She has since claimed she wrote this to cover up his missing status.
The former glamour model had previously hinted that the marriage was already over by emerging without her wedding ring the previous day, while Andrews uncharacteristically switched off his comments on social media.
The fact that Katie believed he had been kidnapped on Wednesday and his comments were switched off on Friday implies he has had access to his phone.
Lee's bio on the photosharing site was tweaked to say the account was 'managed', in an echo of his claims that some of his bombastic claims which were disproven were the fault of a PA not knowing the truth, rather than him lying.

MISSING GOOD MORNING BRITAIN
Last Monday, Katie appeared on Good Morning Britain by herself after Lee failed to show up for a scheduled live interview.
He is believed to be banned from leaving Dubai after allegedly forging his ex Dina Taji’s signature to secure a £200,000 loan – something he has strongly denied.
But that did not stop him from agreeing to travel to the UK for a live appearance on GMB with Katie for their first joint interview.
Addressing his absence, host Susanna Reid, 55, said: 'This morning, we invited Katie and her new husband Lee back into GMB, the first time we met Lee in person, but he didn't make his flight from Dubai yesterday.'
Katie, 47, claimed that he failed to board his flight because he is such a busy man, however later raged that she had been made to look like 'a d**k head'.
On their joint podcast, she told her sister Sophie Price that her husband's antics have turned their relationship into 'a soap opera.'
Katie insisted that Lee had told her he would be flying in for GMB and claimed that 'he was at the airport and couldn't get on the flight' because of an issue with his visa.

AIRPORT STUNT
On Tuesday, Lee was caught in a 'lie' when he posted a airport video claiming he was trying to find a way to get back to the UK.
He said: 'Hi guys. I didn't make Good Morning Britain. I had a couple of other things going on. I am not detained, I am in the airport in Muscat, Oman.
'I'm going to put on [a screenshot] of my police app, showing that I don't have any travel bans because I've already left the UAE.'
Yet comparison images from his filming location showed that he was not in Muscat, because the ceiling design proved he's in Dubai airport.
And he hadn't even gone through security, because he was standing in a communal area in front of the check-in desk. An hour later, he posted another story confirming that he was on the way to see his wife in the UK.

RANSOM FEARS
Due to Lee's past accusations of scamming women, a slew of fans and social media users voiced fears that he was staging the drama to nab a ransom from Katie.
The star, who has been riddled with financial difficulties including being made bankrupt, was met with an onslaught of concerned messages from fans.
Instagram followers wrote: 'Surely she would in tears and beside her self. She’ll be paying the ransom money next in to his account. Poor Katie xxx... Don’t hand any money over to anyone. This is very likely a scam or distraction...
'Do not give him any money Katie x... Anyone else waiting for a fake ransom asking for money to "release him"... Why would he be kidnapped… open your eyes Katie ransom money incoming'.
