Asked about their matching looks, the actress told Elle magazine, 'I think we just have similar taste.'
For her part, she wore a deep blue, semi-sheer button-up shirt and fringed champagne-toned skirt.
She added a pair of black mule heels and carried a bright orange purse.
Meanwhile, Yarmosky - who is 10 years younger than Holmes - stepped out in a crew neck sweater, tailored wide-leg pants, and a black dress shoe.

Holmes reunited with her former Dawson's Creek co-star and ex-boyfriend Joshua Jackson, 48, to shoot Happy Hours – which she wrote and directed – in New York City last summer.
The romantic-drama follows divorced photographer Liz and travel writer Andrew, former high school sweethearts who reconnect as adults.

'We hadn’t worked together in 25 years, and we’ve changed a lot,' Holmes told Variety about acting alongside Jackson.
'We also wanted to give ourselves the space to show different sides of ourselves and to not portray these people we’re known for.'
When Holmes posted an Instagram shot of them promoting the film, a fan commented, 'They should be a couple,' which she gave a like.
But she clarified to Variety that the love story depicted in Happy Hours is not inspired by her life.
