The Heil Hitler hip-hop star and Chappelle have both managed to court enough controversy to be canceled in certain circles, namely the Jewish and LGBTQAI communities.

The DC-born, Ohio-based funnyman first met Ye before he ever recorded an album, enlisting him to appear in two episodes of his Comedy Central sketch series Chappelle's Show in 2004 as well as his 2005 rockumentary Block Party.
'Afterwards, we go to the [editing room]. And this is when everyone knew Kanye would be a star,' Chappelle recalled on The Tonight Show in 2014.
'And we were watching sketches that no one had ever seen before. We show him, like, the Rick James sketch and all these great sketches. And in the middle of it, Kanye's phone rings and he's like, "Hello? No I can't because I'm at the edit for the Dave Chappelle show, watching sketches that no one's seen before."

'As soon as a black man can make money off the plantation, they try to tell you that the money is dirty.'
Chappelle also refers to himself as 'Team TERF' (trans-exclusionary radical feminist) and has continuously punched down at the transgender community in his specials and live shows.
'I did resent that the Republican Party ran on transgender jokes. You know, I felt like they were doing a weaponized version of what I was doing. That's not what I was doing,' the Muslim father-of-three said.
'[Lauren Boebert] posted the picture [of us] before I could even get from there to the show and says something to the effect of, "Just two people that know that it's just two genders." Just instantly, like, weaponized or politicized. So I got to the arena, and I lit her ass up for doing that. And she should never do that to a person like me.'
