has revealed he is having a 'really scary time' battling a brain issue in hospital as his pregnant girlfriend explained it is 'too risky' to join him at his bedside in a post shared to Instagram on Saturday.
The Only Way Is Essex star, 31, revealed on Sunday evening that he was admitted to hospital over the weekend and is now awaiting tests for a clear diagnosis.
He explained he has 'inflammation and swelling of the brain' and added that getting back feels a 'really long way off'.
Sharing a snap of him in a hospital bed to his Stories, he wrote: 'Unfortunately this is still for me. This seems to be a never ending hell at moment.
'I'm awaiting results from a procedure. Once we get them more will be cleared up– what we do know is I have confirmed inflammation and swelling of the brain.
'A really scary time that reassures you we are all human.

'Hoping to rest up and be fighting fit and back home with my girl and bump, soon but at the minute seems a long way off
'Thank you for everyone's continued messages of love and support I'm sorry I havnt got back to everyone I have been extremely weak.
'I also apologise to any work clients hate letting people down I will be back as soon as I can'
Sophie, who is pregnant with their first child, also gave fans an update after she said on Friday they have been 'living a nightmare'.
She wrote 'Jordan is still in the hospital and we are still waiting for answers whilst he is getting treatment and medication.
'If people are trying to contact him he's unable to use his phone at the moment as he's in pain and is mostly sleeping.
'His family are there with him doing a great job as it's too risky for me and baby.
'He will be there for the next few days and hopefully be on the mend and back home to me and bump very soon. Lots of love.'
Jordan's admission to hospital comes after the couple announced in December that they are expecting their first child together after having a challenging two-year fertility journey.

The reality stars, who have been together since 2022, took to social media to share a sweet video announcing the happy news.
Sophie and Jordan looked more loved-up than ever as they hung a bauble on their Christmas tree which read: 'Merry Christmas Mummy and Daddy. See you in 2026.'
In the video, it began with the couple wrapping a present last year and placing it under their Christmas tree.
They wrote: 'Last year, Sophie and Jordan clutched onto an old wives' tale, carefully wrapping a baby blanket and placing it under their tree, in the hope that 2025 would be their year.'
The video transitioned to the pair dressed to the nines in a glamorous figure-hugging red dress, showcasing her baby bump and Jordan wearing a tuxedo as they danced by their Christmas tree.
In January, the couple pulled out all the stops as they threw a star-studded gender reveal at Three Rivers Golf & Country Club in Cold Norton.
The pair were joined by their reality TV pals for the celebration, including James Argent, Lauren Goodger and Charlotte Dawson.
Sophie and Jordan looked happier than ever as they revealed they are expecting a baby boy during the show-stopping event.
