Bryan, 30, branded the disgruntled fan a 'Karen' after they said that attendees at his concert on Saturday in Lincoln, , were owed 'refunds' after they missed out on a few of his songs due to dangerous storm conditions.
Bryan – whose ex recently was between Alex Cooper and Alix Earle – took to X on Saturday night to post a screenshot of that evening's set list, which had received a heart after being sent as a text message.
'I’m sorry for cutting the set short tonight! Lightening [sic] came in fast! We only missed the last six! I love you guys, the rain was a blast,' he wrote.
His screenshot appeared to show the original setlist, rather than the final selection of songs, but fan-generated setlists indicated that seven tunes – Bad News, East Side Of Sorrow, Motorcycle Drive By, Torniquet, Heading South, Fifth Of May and Slicked Back – had been jettisoned due to lighting delays.
Some fans took to social media to complain about the rainy concert, at which many were forced to take shelter in cars until it was safe to return to the grounds, but one response appeared to particularly irk Bryan.

Bryan took to X on Saturday night to post a screenshot of that evening's set list from Lincoln, Nebraska. 'I’m sorry for cutting the set short tonight! Lightening [sic] came in fast! We only missed the last six! I love you guys, the rain was a blast,' he wrote
'Partial refunds need to be given... I know a lot of this was out of your control but we got half a show. Very disappointing,' one user replied to Bryan setlist post.
After another user pointed out that they had significantly misrepresented how many songs were ditched due to the weather, they claimed in response that Bryan 'really rushed through his remaining songs.'
The original complainer also claimed that some fans were disappointed that they didn't get to see the opening act, Kings of Leon, as their set was cut due to the weather delays.

But Bryan didn't appear to find those to be compelling reasons to take issue with him, and he quoted the post, writing, 'Karen ahhhh tweet'
Bryan doubled down and defended himself by posting a photo of the concert stage that was snapped from the audience and showed dangerous lightning looming over it
The responses were largely supportive of the country hitmaker, particularly after he posted the photo of lightning hovering over the stage, but one fan seemingly took issue with Bryan defending himself.
'What a scum response to a fan who probably waited all night to see you and the opening artists,' they wrote in a fury. 'I paid over a thousand dollars to see this show and waited in my car for over 4 hours.'

However, other fans jumped to Bryan's defense, with one replying, 'He was literally posting updates all day yesterday. You act like he controls the weather lol.'
In fact, Bryan's feed on X shows multiple updates on weather delays throughout Saturday. 'To be clear we’ve never been scared of rain in our life we just gotta avoid the lightening [sic] for the safety of everyone,' he wrote in one post; seen April 11
The controversy over his delayed show comes after Bryan's concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was canceled earlier this month, marking the first time one of his concerts was scrapped due to dangerous weather conditions; seen April 11
The cancellation, which was also due to weather, marked the first time one of his shows had ever been called off due to dangerous storm conditions.
'I pissed off plenty [of] people this morning trying to "play anyways," he wrote on Instagram shortly after the show was canceled.
'If I had ANY say in this, things would be different. I apologize and I love all of ya,' he continued.
'I've never canceled a show in my life but I unfortunately don't have a choice in the matter,' Bryan added. 'We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.'
