The Gladiator star, 62, wasted no time in putting autograph and selfie hunters to the sword after they swarmed him during his latest appearance in Paris, where he is attending the with girlfriend Theriot.
The fiery incident, captured by onlookers as he emerged from his hotel, has since divided fans - prompting Frost, 55, to weigh in and defend the celebrated actor.
Commenting on Crowe's outburst following its emergence on social media, she wrote: 'It's called rules and boundaries and if you abide by them, Russell is more than happy to oblige. Fair play.'

Frost's post was met with a chorus of approval, with many social media followers agreeing with the personality.
'Agree. He’s being very kind here offering what they want but they need to give him personal space. We old school people call it Manners and respect,' added one follower.
