Jo Frost Defends Russell Crowes Paris Outburst

was given the unlikely backing of former Supernanny Jo Frost on Tuesday after the actor was filmed berating fans outside a Paris hotel. 

The Gladiator star, 62, wasted no time in putting autograph and selfie hunters to the sword after they swarmed him during his latest appearance in Paris, where he is attending the  with girlfriend Theriot. 

The fiery incident, captured by onlookers as he emerged from his hotel, has since divided fans - prompting Frost, 55, to weigh in and defend the celebrated actor.

Commenting on Crowe's outburst following its emergence on social media, she wrote: 'It's called rules and boundaries and if you abide by them, Russell is more than happy to oblige. Fair play.' 

Frost's post was met with a chorus of approval, with many social media followers agreeing with the  personality. 

'Agree. He’s being very kind here offering what they want but they need to give him personal space. We old school people call it Manners and respect,' added one follower. 

A second observed: 'He already signed and as you can see there were many asking to get an autograph. He is not obligated to give any.' 

Disagreeing with Frost, a third wrote: 'He's still lucky he has fans. Some people don't even know who he is. He's more of a grumpy old man.' 

Crowe was seen erupting at fans after being instantly hemmed in as he exited his hotel in the French capital. 

'Stay where you are. Don't f***ing push in on me,' he ordered after proceeding to sign autographs. 'I'll come to you. Give everyone space.

'As soon as somebody is a d***, I'm gone. You got me?' 

A few individuals could be heard replying with, 'Yes,' before Crowe stepped forward to calmly begin signing autographs on posters.

Crowe has been keeping busy during his time in Paris and made an appearance at the French Open on Sunday which took place at Stade Roland Garros. 

He watched Alexander Zverev of Germany and Benjamin Bonzi of France compete in a match, with Zverev winning the round. 

At one point during the game, Crowe was involved in an incredible moment when he caught a stray ball that flew into the crowd. 

The award-winning star was able to quickly snatch the tennis ball as it was flying past him.
