Hugo Taylor Celebrates 40th Birthday Amid Divorce Drama

was seen sporting his wedding ring as he rang in his 40th birthday in , just days after his estranged wife revealed she's moving out of their marital home.

In an image shared to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the former star looked happy and relaxed during a boat trip as he kicked back with a cup of tea amid his birthday celebrations.

Hugo cut a casual figure in a royal blue shirt, with his gold band seen firmly on his wedding finger despite him and Millie, 36, announcing their split in February after seven years of marriage.

Determined to enjoy his trip following his marital woes, Hugo also shared a number of snaps to his stories as he took in the sights around Naples and the Amalfi Coast.

Hugo's appearance follows his ex Millie's revelation that she is moving out of the family home they once shared and into a new abode of her own. 

Millie and Hugo have officially filed for divorce and have both appointed legal teams, with the pair said to be keen for a 'clean break' while continuing to co-parent daughters Sienna, six, and Aurelia, four. 

Before their separation, Millie and Hugo spent months completing a full renovation on their £5million family home, regularly sharing updates about the project.

But in a recent Instagram post, Millie, shared a look at her new beginning after leaving the property she shared with her estranged husband.

Millie posted a picture of her living space, including a marble mantelpiece and log-burning fire, which was positioned beside a built in cupboard.

Revealing that the snap was of her new home, Millie wrote: 'Next chapter incoming... excited to make a new place my home'. 

The news was included in a post about 'half term realities' with her young daughters. 

Meanwhile, on Monday Hugo reflected on his 'beautiful marriage' to Millie after their split as he celebrated his 40th birthday by sharing a sweet snap cuddling their daughters.

Hugo was clearly feeling in a reflective mood as he shared a snap with his daughters and told his followers about everything he felt grateful for.  

He penned in the caption of his post: '40 years around the sun. Today I am so grateful for the life I have lived, the love I have been shown and the joy I have received. To my amazing family, friends and everyone I have met along the road I thank you for making it a life to be remembered and celebrated.

'The last decade has given me a beautiful marriage, fatherhood, a career I am proud of and countless moments that I will treasure forever. I am genuinely proud of what I have done and the evolution I have gone through.

'So to everyone who has supported me along the way I give you thanks and praise. I could not have done it without your support.

'And finally to my two daughters. You are my heart and soul. I love you. 40 year... don't they go by in a flash.' 

A source told the Daily Mail of Hugo and Millie's split earlier this year: 'Millie and Hugo are currently going through a separation and have sadly decided to split.

'They have known each other for many years, and in recent weeks, have had serious conversations about their future, ultimately deciding it's better for them both to part ways.

'Their main priority remains their children and family life, and separating is not something they ever hoped would happen.

'At present, they are considering what living apart might look like and how they plan to navigate co-parenting their young children.

'It's been an incredibly difficult start to the year, and one they hope to continue managing in private.'
