The comedian, 55, took to Instagram on Saturday to share a clip of himself sitting on a flight.
'I'm flying from to to play a footy game,' Dave explained. 'I'm in economy as I always am because I don't like to waste money.'
He added that while making his way to his seat, he spied a trio of politicians sitting at the front of the plane.
'I walked past three politicians in business class. They don't care about wasting money.'
Continuing his point with a superimposed caption, Dave wrote: 'Many hard workers on this flight. Some of 'em on the edge of solvency.'

Dave Hughes has issued another scathing rebuke of Australia's political class, while on a flight from Sydney to Melbourne on Saturday
'I'm in economy as I always am because I don't like to waste money.' He added that while making his way to his seat, he spied a trio of politicians sitting at the front of the plane. 'I walked past three politicians in business class. They don't care about wasting money.'
'They fly economy and walk past all the politicians sitting in business class as the national debt hits a trillion and taxes are raised again.'
He continued: 'This isn't going to end well.' Dave augmented the sentiment with the hashtag #AnimalFarm.
Dave's dressing down didn't end there, with the funnyman doubling down in the clip's expansive caption.
'Aus Govt just decided to take even more, via capital gains tax (highest in world), from hard working small business people, who do the gruelling hours, and take the stressful risks, but there won’t be many capital gains, cos the Australian economy will now complete its nosedive, as the incentive to build businesses is extinguished,' Dave claimed.
'And the clueless politicians sit there in business class, sipping champagne, while their myriad of assistants type up speeches about "fairness".
The post was met with a chorus of approval from Dave's 319,000 Instagram followers.
'I have never believed more in reviewing all politicians' wages and pensions,' one follower commented.

'If disabled people will suffer alone in their homes, the people that make those decisions don’t deserve a lifelong pension.'

It comes after Dave launched a blistering attack on the Australian Government over recent policy decisions announced in this week's federal Budget
'What is the point of paying tax when it is just going to be stolen by criminals because the governments are f***ing useless? Enough of this bulls***!' he continued.

Dave further explained in the comments that he was angry at how the NDIS' expenses had significantly exceeded its budget, which would
'You get that NDIS is half our entire federal Budget now! At least five times more expensive than it was meant to be? And the scamming of it is on an industrial scale?' he said.
Following Treasurer Jim Chalmers delivering the Albanese Government's 2026-2027 federal Budget on Tuesday night,
'I never comment on budgets but this one has the potential to completely destroy the future business landscape in Australia,' Bec ranted on Instagram, referring to significant changes to negative gearing, restricting tax deductions for rental losses on established properties.
'Founders will take their companies overseas and no one will invest here. I'm worried for our ambitious young people who won't settle for mediocrity, like this government seems to want and reward.'
The glamorous influencer added she was concerned about the devastating impact the Budget could have on the future of the country.
'I'm worried for Millennials who haven't had a chance to build their wealth. I'm genuinely worried about the country I love. Also, people make big life investment decisions based on the lies politicians tell. This to me is unconscionable,' she said.
