Hilary Duff and her husband Matthew Koma absolutely trolled their friends Nicole Richie and Joel Madden on Wednesday night.
The Younger star, 37, and Koma, also 37, dressed up as twins Benji and Joel Madden, 45, for their pre-Halloween costumes for a double-date dinner with Nicole and Joel.
‘Going as @benjaminadden and @joelmadden to a Halloween dinner with @joelmadden and @nicolerichie,’ Koma wrote via his Instagram Stories.
The caption appeared on a photo of the couple rocking Joel, 45, and Benji’s signature black attire and flat-billed black trucker hats.
Nicole and Joel got a big kick out of the stunt and both shared pictures of the couple dressed as the Good Charlotte band members on their Instagram Stories.

Matt dressed as Joel with his MDDN hat, leather jacket and chain necklace while Hilary was the other Good Charlotte member in a black cap, leather vest and chain necklaces.
Nicole, 43, shared a photo of the couple to her Instagram Stories – and Joel shared the same photo on his.
‘Protect @matthewkoma and @hilaryduff at all costs,’ she wrote, adding two crown emojis.
The couples are close friends despite the fact that Hilary and Joel dated two decades ago.
They are even neighbors, as Hilary shared on a 2023 episode of Watch What Happens Live.
‘We’re neighbors. And we actually hang out all the time,’ she said.
‘I was just in her driveway honking her to come drink wine with us the other day.’
And just a few weeks ago, Hilary and Nicole went out to dinner to celebrate the Lizzie McGuire star’s birthday at Funke Restaurant in Beverly Hills.
Nicole and Joel tied the knot in 2010 and have two teenagers, daughter Harlow, 16, and son Sparrow, 15.

Hilary and Matthew, meanwhile, married in December 2019, with an intimate ceremony held just outside their home in LA.
The couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Banks, five, back in October 2018.
Daughter Mae, three, followed in 2021 and daughter Townes just arrived on May 3.
Duff also has a son Luca, 12, from her first marriage to former professional hockey player Mike Comrie.
