It came as she attended a Valentine's-themed lunch for Gurus magazine, where founder Derek Warburton made a playful jab about her now-famous Spanish inflection

And later, in her 2025 memoir Manual Not Included, she claimed that her fluctuating accent is due to ADHD and dyslexia.
She wrote that her 'brain just works differently.'
'And these [diagnoses] greatly impact my speech, my reading, my listening, my focus, my memory and my self-confidence,' she elaborated.
She also addressed confusion about how she identifies as Spanish even though she was born and raised in Boston.
The yoga instructor attributed her accent to being neurodivergent.

'If only you knew how loud it is in my brain at any given moment,' she continued.
'I just existed in a land where sometimes I spoke one language and sometimes I spoke another, sometimes I mixed them and got mixed up, and I never talked about my processing differences.'
The star insisted: 'I can really succeed in the right environments and tasks.'
The Baldwins tied the knot in 2012 and in addition to Carmen, they share Rafael, 10, Leonardo, nine, Romeo, seven, Eduardo, five, Maria, four and Ilaria, three.
