The singer's life has been anything but ordinary, having propelled to unimaginable heights of stardom as one fifth of boyband One Direction at 16-years-old.

So knowing how to pause and take time for himself was somewhat tricky for the musician.

After his Love On Tour wrapped up in July 2023, the Grammy winner, 32, finally decided it was time for a break.

Within his career hiatus, Harry said drinking coffee in Rome, running marathons and becoming an uncle has helped him enjoy the little things in life.

At the start of Covid, Harry drove from London to Rome in a bid to find peace and tranquility after years of touring.

He said: 'When I was in Rome, the city just taught me how to slow down. Italy became so important to me because I was so used to everything moving so quickly and being on the go, but then I remember going to a café and sitting and having a coffee and thinking, 'I don't remember the last time I sat down and had a coffee'.

'I was suddenly learning, through my friends, that eating a meal is more than just sitting down and refuelling. I realised the pleasure in just being in the moment of what you're doing.

'The Romans are the best at that - that's their speciality. The pace they've taught me has been so special.'

During his career hiatus, Harry has become an uncle - a new role he has loved and cherished.

Harry's sister Gemma previously revealed that Harry is a hands on uncle and even takes on babysitting duties.

He told The Times: 'Also, in that time my sister had a baby and at any other time in my life I would have missed a lot of that. To be there to get to know my niece as she's growing up, it's so obvious to me what's real. It was really obvious that was where I wanted to be.'

It comes after Harry announced earlier this month he will take to the stage for a one-off show to celebrate the release of his new album.

He has faced backlash from fans who branded him 'greedy' and 'out of touch' after being charged huge prices to land tickets for his Together Together tour.

The former One Direction star will take to the stage at the city's Co-Op Arena on Friday, March 6, the same day as the release of his new album KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY.

The show also comes a little over a week after Harry is set to make his performance comeback at the BRIT Awards in the same venue, of which he is a co-owner.

Posting the announcement on his social media, Harry shared that 'requests' to land tickets for the show would begin on Friday.

He wrote: 'One Night Only. Manchester. Co-op Live. March 6th. Ticket requests begin Friday. More details to follow.'

Tickets for Harry's Together Together tour went on sale last month, with the singer set to perform a record 12 dates at London's Wembley Stadium.
