For over a decade he was also the second husband of , during a period in which she achieved nationwide stardom on Cheers.

He is none other than Parker Stevenson, who starred as Craig Pomeroy on the first season of Baywatch alongside fellow beefcake David Hasselhoff.

Born to an investment advisor and a TV commercial actress, Stevenson began auditioning for ads himself at 14, encouraged into the profession by his mother.
Although he studied architecture at Princeton, he kept acting during his university years, including when he was 20 in a TV movie adaptation of John Knowles' classic 1950s boarding school novel A Separate Peace.

'Dear Kirstie,' he wrote on Instagram next to a throwback photo of them as a couple. 'I am so grateful for our years together, and for the two incredibly beautiful children and now grandchildren that we have. You will be missed. With love, Parker.'
