This Hollywood actress stayed busy in the 1990s with back-to-back movies and TV show appearances.

Her biggest hit was in the James Belushi comedy Taking Care Of Business, which also starred Charles Grodin.

The 1990 film was about a prisoner who walks out of his minimum security prison and hitchhikes to the World Series after winning tickets. When he finds a datebook full of credit cards he uses them to have fun along the way.

This actress played the beautiful distraction who sizzles in a bikini as they sit in a hot tub together.

She also appeared in several TV series such as Home Improvement with and Frasier with .

But then in 1999 she quit Hollywood to spend time with her restaurant-owner husband as she raised their child.

She was spotted running errands in Los Angeles on Thursday as she hit a shop then picked up dry cleaning. 

The star was born in Burbank, California near the biggest Hollywood studios like Warner Bros and Disney.

It was a natural for her to start acting at a young age.

Her first role was as Melissa Hanson in the 1989 action comedy film Catch Me If You Can that also starred Matt Lattanzi.

The film follows the antics of high school students and their adventure in saving their school from being closed. 

Class president Melissa has started raising money through donations to keep the school open, but when there is not enough money, Dylan convinces Melissa that he can save the school by taking the $3000 that was already raised to bet on an illegal car race that Dylan is convinced he will win. 

He doesn't, which forces him to make a daring move to get the money back.

Next she was in Wes Craven's TV movie Night Visions in 1990. She played psychic criminal profiler Dr Sally Powers who is a specialist in criminal psychopathology. Her psychic abilities allow her to figure out where a killer will strike next, alongside a sergeant played by James Remar, leading to his capture.

She was also in movie with Christopher Lambert and Chris Noth

And she popped up in TV shows such as Home Improvement, JAG and Frasier

Her career last only a decade, however, as in 1999 she had her last acting role with Frasier

That same year she starred in her hit film Taking Care Of Business with Belushi.

The movie focused on car thief Jimmy Dworski (Belushi) who wins tickets to the World Series. 

He sneaks out of prison to go see the game. 

On the way, he finds the Filofax belonging to the wealthy Spencer Barnes (Grodin).

The criminal takes on his identity as he stays in the Malibu beach house of Spencer's boss, flirting with the boss's daughter and even takes business meetings.

When Jimmy and Spencer come face to face during a meeting with the advertising executives, Spencer quits and Jimmy, feeling bad for the guy, takes him to the World Series as they become friends.

Locklin then appeared in the 1991 TV movie Shoot First: A Cop's Vengeance with Dale Midkiff.

Based on a true-life story set in San Antonio, Texas, the movie follows two best friends and police officers whose differing views on justice push one into becoming a lethal vigilante.

Her husband is sent to a jail called the Fortress, which is underground in the desert with slaves but he escapes to Mexico where Karen welcomes her second baby.

Locklin then worked on the TV movie Abducted: A Father's Love in 1996; she played Andrea Costner.

That film starred Chris Noth of Sex And The City fame was about an Underground Mothers movement helps hide a man (Noth) who took his baby daughter from his neglectful estranged wife (Locklin).

Next she landed the starring role of Karen B Brennick in the 1992 film Fortress with Christopher Lambert

She gets in trouble for being pregnant with a second child when the US has become a military dictatorship with a one-child policy. Seen with Kurtwood Smith

After that the actress had a supporting role as Robin in the episode titled Taps for the hit sitcom Home Improvement in 1997.

She was then in the film Denial with Jonathan Silverman, Leah Lail, Patrick Dempsey, Christine Taylor, Ryan Alosio, Amy Yasbeck, and Jason Alexander in 1998.

The movie was an ensemble dark comedy written and directed by Adam Rifkin. The plot followed several couples at a dinner party who spiral into confusion and relationship-questioning after a writer argues that monogamy is a lie and that infidelity is natural.

Also in 1998 she played Sarah in the TV movie The Perfect Getaway.

The actress had a supporting role as Robin in the episode titled Taps for the hit sitcom Home Improvement in 1997

With Niles, played by David Hyde Pierce, on the Tv series Frasier

The 1998 action-thriller followed Colt Erikson, an ex-con turned helicopter pilot, who is forced to serve as the getaway man in a high-stakes crime when a woman hijacks his helicopter to break her convict boyfriend out of a federal prison

Locklin was then on three episodes as Jill Waddington on JAG in the late 1990s.

In 1999 she starred in her last three projects.

She played Estelle in the movie Operation Splitsville, a family comedy set at an elementary school split between children of divorced parents and children of still-married parents. When a boy's parents split up, he forms a 'divorce club.'

Then she played Cindy Carteret in the TV movie The Rockford Files: If It Bleeds... It Leads starring James Garner and Rita Moreno.

The movie followed retired private eye Jim Rockford as he investigates a string of child molestations. He takes on the case to clear the name of his good friend Ernie Landale, a respected schoolteacher who was wrongfully suspected due to a leaked police sketch.

Her last acting role was as Sabrina in the episode Father Of The Bride on the smash hit series Frasier.

Locklin was married to producer/restaurateur Victor Drai from 1990 to 1998; they had a child in 1993.

Drai, 78, is a nightclub owner, entrepreneur and film producer. Drai rose to prominence in the 1980s, producing the movies The Woman in Red and Weekend at Bernie's, before leaving the industry to open a string of high-profile restaurants and nightclubs. Before Locklin, he dated Jacqueline Bissett and Kelly LeBrock.
