Gia Accuses Scott of Secretly Messaging Ex!

It was meant to be a celebration of love.

Instead, Family and Friends Week detonated one of Married At First Sight's most polarising relationships – and now Gia Fleur and Scott McCristal are laying it all bare.

From claims of nude photos and secret messages to accusations of gaslighting, control and ego, the couple have given Daily Mail a no-holds-barred account of what really happened behind the scenes of the explosive episode.

And let's just say – what viewers saw was only half the story.

Gia admits she sensed trouble the moment she walked into the lunch.

'I knew straight away there was an energy – straight away – that they were going to come for me,' she said.

While her mother Silvana and best friend Will were 'excited and happy' and complimentary towards Scott, she claims his friends came in 'hostile'.

'They didn't really get a word in. My mum didn't get a chance to speak because he just took over the whole day.'

She says she felt judged – particularly as a mother.

'There were comments like, 'Will your daughter come with you if you move?' I have full custody. Of course she's coming with me.'

Gia also claims key moments were cut from the edit, including inappropriate remarks from Scott's friend Matt.

'He was talking about my boobs, saying he'd love to be in a sandwich with me and Scott – all this stuff in front of my mum. It wasn't respectful.'

When asked whether she felt Scott defended her, her answer was blunt.

'No. He was laughing. He was making a joke of everything.'

The photo that broke them

The real fracture point came hours later – while driving to meet Gia's daughter for the first time.

A photo memory popped up on Scott's phone.

Gia says it was not innocent.

'There were multiple photos and they were nude and in lingerie. That's pretty inappropriate,' she claimed.

'It wasn't like it was a family holiday. It was literally nudes. I don't know why seeing your ex's boobs is so important that you won't delete it.'

She alleges he was still messaging his ex at the time.

'He was texting her on the honeymoon. Pink hearts next to her name. Talking about who came to the wedding. I was just honestly so over it.'

Scott disputes the severity.

'It wasn't explicit content,' he insisted. 'It was a memory from years ago. I've got 75,000 photos on my phone. It's not like I intentionally brought it up to stir her.'

But he admits refusing to delete them at first.

'My initial response was, don't tell me to delete photos off my phone. I felt controlled.'

Gia says that refusal is what pushed her to walk out.

'If he had deleted them at that time, I probably wouldn't have left,' she admitted. 'I wanted him to chase me and say, if this is that important to you, I'll get rid of them.'

Scott did not chase her.

'I didn't chase her because I knew she'd come back,' he said calmly.

The next morning, he deleted the photos.

'I went down to the park, removed them all, showed her the deleted folder and then removed them from there too.'

'How romantic,' he added dryly.

The OnlyFans hypocrisy

The ex drama wasn't the only issue bubbling beneath the surface.

Gia revealed she once floated the idea of starting an OnlyFans account – and says Scott reacted with disgust.

'He said women that do that are disgusting. That's why I left my ex,' she claimed.

Later, she discovered Scott had previously had an OnlyFans account himself.

'He denied it to me multiple times,' she said. 'So when it finally came out, I felt validated.'

Scott did not directly deny having one, but brushed off the controversy, suggesting ego and control were at play.

'I just don't like people controlling me,' he said.

'I regret introducing him to my daughter'

Just days earlier, the pair had been all 'sunshine and lollipops' on the couch and even got matching tattoos.

So where did it unravel?

Gia says there were off-camera arguments viewers never saw.

'There were so many instances of things I wanted to bring up and he'd say, don't talk about that on camera.'

Despite her doubts, she introduced him to her eight-year-old daughter.

Now, she wishes she hadn't.

'I definitely regret introducing him. For me it was serious. For him, I think he thought it would look good.'

Scott sees it differently.

'Why would I think she'd leave over a photo? It's not enough to tear apart something strong.'

But he admits her walkouts gave him 'more of an eye-opener' about how she handles pressure.

Retreat carnage incoming

If Family and Friends was tense, the retreat promises all-out war.

Gia confirms she forms an alliance with Juliet and Chris, describing it as 'us against Bec'.

'Juliet is very feisty. She makes it known when she's not happy,' she said. 

Scott also reveals his friendship with Danny suffers collateral damage.

'We end up saying we can't be friends. We have to back our wives.'

Yet despite the fractures, he insists he never publicly undermines Gia.

'I'll never roast her in public. If she's wrong, we talk in private.'

Strongest couple - or ticking time bomb?

Despite the chaos, Scott maintains he always knew Gia would return.

'Why say we're the strongest couple and then walk out? I knew she'd come back.'

Gia admits she sometimes self-sabotages.

'I do want to be chased. Maybe I wasn't really done - I was just done in that moment.'

Whether that dynamic is passion or a red flag remains to be seen.

One thing is clear - beneath the matching tattoos and couch declarations, cracks were already forming.
