George Lopez shocked fans with his disheveled appearance as he stopped by The Jennifer Hudson Show on Thursday.
The comedian, 63, showed off some of his dance moves in a lighthearted clip that was filmed backstage ahead of taping the episode.
The actor – who was heckled by a crowd amid a stand-up show last year – sported long gray hair as well as a scruffy beard in the video which was uploaded to the show’s account on X.
Lopez wore a dark navy suit and strutted down a hallway while surrounded by staff members who sang a tune to the theme song of his sitcom George Lopez, which aired from 2002 through 2007.
‘Oh my gosh! George is at the happy place now!’ they could be heard singing. At the end of the reel, the star blew a kiss and expressed, ‘I love you so much, thank you!’
However, social media users were more focused on his altered look rather than the song, with one penning, ‘What happened to dude. He was normal looking 5 years ago.’

Others compared George to the German philosopher and political economist Karl Marx, with one typing, ‘He looks like Karl Marx. Long hair is a ridiculous look on anyone over the age of 25.’

The actor touched on a number of topics during his appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show – from being a fan of Love Is Blind to his possible retirement.
At one point, Hudson asked George if he would ever go on the Netflix reality series, and he replied with, ‘You know, I think too many people have seen me.’
‘I would never go on Love Is Blind. But I will tell you this,’ he continued. ‘I’ve thought about this. I’ve never said this. I am prepared if asked to be the Golden Bachelor.’
He then stood up as the live audience and Jennifer cheered him on as he referenced the ABC series.
Elsewhere in the interview, Lopez are reflected on being in the industry and ‘comedy business’ for ‘almost 50 years.’
In regards to his biggest accomplishment, the star revealed the moment was when he got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2006.
George also discussed his upcoming comedy special titled George Lopez: Muy Catolico (Very Catholic) – which is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video later this month on February 18.

‘You know, it’s been a wonderful 45 years and I think maybe I’ll go, Jennifer, until it’s 50 years. 2029. You’ve got me for four more years.’
His one-hour comedy special was filmed last year in September at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, per Deadline.
During the stand-up routine, the actor touched on a variety of topics such as ‘aging, Latino family dynamics, and cultural quirks,’ the outlet reported.

Last year in October, he also briefly opened up about the Prime Video special being his last on the Tamron Hall Show.
‘It is the last one. I’ve subjected the American people to enough of my crap,’ he said on the show.
‘It seems like the right time; it’s been the one thing that has just never left me my whole life and it’s a wonderful place to leave it at this particular point.’
Aside from the upcoming special, George has also been starring in the sitcom Lopez vs. Lopez which aired its third season last fall.
