has abandoned plans to move to in favour of the British countryside amid the ongoing war in the Middle East. 

The icon, 45, has said she would 'miss the UK too much' if she was to relocate her life with fiancé Rami Hawash and step-son Tristan, seven, to the UAE. 

Gemma revealed the idea of moving only came about because she was struggling with the winter weather in the UK.  

She told New! magazine: 'I mean I say it, but no - my heart's in the UK. I love Britain. I love afternoon tea. I love driving into London and seeing Big Ben. No one's a bigger rep for the UK than me. 

'My heart is here, but I think those discussions always come about in the winter months, and I do struggle with SAD [seasonal Affective Disorder] and I'm like, "Oh, moving to Dubai would be nice".' 

'I'd miss the UK too much but I do love spending time in Dubai. I mean it's very GC! I walk around in caftans all day, it's very luxurious. But then there's me. I love the English countryside and my heart is with the people of the UK so no I'm staying put'.

On Tuesday, Gemma revealed she was enjoying a luxury stay in the Cotswolds where she is enjoying the 'calm' and 'slow mornings'. 

Alongside a short video of her stay, she penned: 'Cotswolds Life. There is something about Cotswolds life that feels like wrapping your soul in soft wool.

'It is slow mornings with light spilling across honey stone walls. It is fresh air that feels expensive. It is muddy boots by the door and candles lit before dinner just because.

It comes after Gemma revealed thats she was flogging her 'worn once' clothes on Vinted after after losing 3st and dropping from a size 26 to a size 20.

The TV personality has been incredibly open about her journey on Mounjaro weight loss jabs.

Gemma has long struggled with her weight and previously admitted she thought she would die after a that left her in pain.

Gemma has been keeping her Instagram followers updated on her weight-loss journey after . 

She revealed last year she achieved the results in just three months after using Mounjaro weight loss jabs.

The star has gone from a size 26 to a size 20 and , and now Gemma has revealed she is back on the jab after taking a break.

'I had to because I had a gallbladder attack in August, but they've assured me that it's not actually linked to Mounjaro,' Gemma told The Mirror.

'I've given it a rest and I've really been managing what I've been eating. But I think I'm going to start microdosing because I feel with the microdosing, you don't get all the [side] effects.'

Gemma followed the guidance to increase her dosage incrementally, from the starting dose of 2.5mg, to the maximum dose of 15mg a week.

Her weight loss journey was a difficult one before she found Mounjaro, admitting she would even taken appetite suppressant Reductil as a teenager, which has since been .

Gemma admitted she would feel 'suicidal' when she was on diets and has been weighing for food portions and .

The star previously had a secret operation to have a gastric balloon fitted but was left feeling so ill after she thought she might die.

She said: 'It was scary. I should never have done it... I thought I was going to die. I could not get out of bed. The pain in my stomach... because it was like a foreign body in my belly.'

Gemma said even drinking water after the operation made her violently sick and so she rang the hospital begging them to take the balloon out.
