She was known as the 'party Rottweiler' for the Primrose Hill Set in the 1990s because she refused to admit people she deemed not important enough to join the hedonistic gatherings she organised for and .

And it seems that Fran Cutler has lost none of her bite.

I can reveal that the public relations supremo was caught in a blazing row with James Cook, ex-husband of model , at the Sony Music after-party, at newly opened Soho House in Manchester.

The pair were seated at a reserved table with James's fiancee, Lauren Brown, and Fran's daughter Mercy, 24, when tensions erupted.

A partygoer tells me: 'James appeared agitated and could be seen and heard repeatedly swearing at Mercy, telling her to 'f*** off'. After he had repeated it about four times, she finally left the table.'

The insider adds: 'Then Fran stepped in and started to having a go at James, as Lauren urged him to calm down. Moments later, Fran also made her exit from the table.'

So all the kids grew up together and they are friends still.'

Grace Gummer followed in her mother Meryl Streep's hallowed footsteps into acting, but she has had to juggle her career with the demands of her husband's globe-trotting as a DJ and music producer, he admits.

'I always want Grace by my side, because she's always supported me with my music and DJing, which is quite full on,' he tells me at the Sony Music Brits after-party at Soho House Manchester, where he was behind the decks.

'She has made so many sacrifices for me that I'm so grateful for.'

Shappi slaps down ex Steel

Having split up again last autumn, months after being reunited, comedians Mark Steel and Shappi Khorsandi are now publicly fighting over Iran.

Tehran-born Shappi, 52, has been horrified by the knee-jerk anti-Americanism expressed by Left-wing Steel, 64.

He commented sarcastically online: 'I would like to join in demanding that the country that is being bombed indiscriminately doesn't engage in the unforgivable practice of bombing indiscriminately, which is never justified, which is why we stand by our allies and bomb indiscriminately.'

Former I'm A Celebrity contestant Shappi responded with a reference to his alleged silence over earlier protests against the murderous Islamist regime: 'Oh, you've heard of Iran, have you, Mark? Only I never heard you utter a word of support for the protesters being slaughtered in their thousands as they stood up to tyranny. I thought you LIKED revolutions.'

Joan: 'Disastrous faces' put me off fat jabs

Dame Joan Collins says weight-loss drugs have a disastrous effect on users' looks

Weight-loss jabs such as Ozempic and Wegovy are not only credited with helping users shed the pounds but also with providing a range of surprising health benefits from curbing alcohol cravings to boosting fertility.

However, Dame Joan Collins says such drugs have had a horrific effect on users' looks.

Making clear that she has never undergone cosmetic surgery, the Dynasty star says: 'I don't believe in needles and things. I've never had Botox or anything in my face.'

And, referring to weight-loss drugs, the actress, 92, declares: 'I'd never dream of doing something like that. I have seen too many disastrous faces.

Reality television star Kelly Osbourne, 41, hit out at cruel trolls who attacked her changed appearance after she collected a lifetime achievement award to her late father, the rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, at the Brit Awards in Manchester at the weekend.

Nigel Farage admits he's surprised he keeps going despite a lack of rest.

'I get four-and-a-half to five hours' sleep a night,' the Reform UK leader tells me at a party in Westminster. 'I shouldn't be all right, but I am. I've taken on something that's never been done before so it's very exciting.'

The 61-year-old tries to keep in shape. 'I do a few hours every week on the walking-machine thing,' he says. 'I still smoke, but that's probably the worst thing I do for my health.'

Adolescence star Stephen Graham says he's sick of arrogant Hollywood co-stars' prima donna behaviour on set.

The actor, who starred in Gangs Of New York and The Irishman, says: 'There is a lot of actors that aren't on time.

'That's exceptionally disrespectful. To leave a crew, that have been there well before you and will leave well after you, waiting around because you are some Lord and Saviour and the goose that lays the golden egg is disgusting…it's just not cricket.'
