Venezuela Fury shocked fans last September when she revealed her boyfriend Noah Price had popped the question at her 16th birthday party.

And with wedding preparations well under way, on the new series of At Home With The Furys fans were given a behind the scenes look at the engagement.

Tyson and Paris' eldest daughter was over the moon after Noah got down on one knee in front of all her friends and family, just minutes after he had sat down with the boxer to ask for his permission in taking his daughter's hand in marriage.

But it turns out the proposal wasn't a shock for her parents, as Venezuela had already told them that Noah would be coming round to ask for Tyson's approval.

While Paris explains that in traveller culture girls tend to get married younger, she still remarks that 16 is 'ridiculously young'.

And at first Tyson doesn't seem so sure about the proposal as he asks: 'How can I let a stranger take away my baby?' and makes sure she is aware of the gravity of marriage.

'Are you joking? He's gonna come ask me to marry me daughter?' exclaims Tyson as Venezuela breaks the news to him.

This is the moment Venezuela Fury's fiancé asks to propose at her 16th birthday party as her father Tyson says 'I am losing my baby to a stranger' following whirlwind four month romance

It turns out the proposal wasn't a shock for her parents, as Venezuela had already told them that Noah would be coming round to ask for Tyson's approval

He goes on to explain: 'Marriage is forever, the way we do it, so when you go in that church and say "I do" no piece of paper or government can undo you, as what God puts together can never been undone.

'So it's a lifetime commitment and however old you are, 16-year-old, are you ready for a lifetime commitment to somebody you barely know?'

'You know that for 100 per cent fact?' as Venezuela insists she does he adds: 'Then fair play because I knew as soon as I saw your mother.

'If you can get a sensible lad which he is, what more could you want.'

Speaking to the camera the sports star admits it is taking him a little while to come round to the decision as he confesses: 'I'm not entirely sure [how he feels]. It has all come around a bit soon.'

However just days later on Venezuela's birthday it seems the boxer has accepted the idea as the engagement comes even sooner than any of them expected.

As the girls head to the party, Noah arrives at the house to meet Tyson, remarking this will be the first one on one conversation the pair have had.

'I drove past the gate about ten times trying to build up the courage to go in', Noah says as he arrives at Tyson's house.

Noah told producers: 'This was the first time I was talking to him on my own, I was very nervous. Of all the father-in-laws I could pick, I had to pick the world champion.

'I was practising the words over and over in me head, hoping that he said yes.'

Looking as though he was on the brink of tears, Noah began: 'I've come to ask your daughter if I can marry her.'

'When's all this come about then?' Tyson says.

As Tyson and Paris enjoy a rare child free holiday, Paris muses: 'Venezuela's 16 this year, she'll have boys round next.'

'I don't think so,' insists Tyson. 'Maybe a boy, but not boys, plural. One boyfriend then marry him, that's how it works.'

Speaking to the camera, Paris reveals she 'would die' if Venezuela was to get married.

'I would die, it would just be a loss of the family and to think of her bedroom being empty is so horrible but I'll cross that path if it comes.'

The surprise engagement has echos of Venezuela's parents' romance, after first meeting when Tyson was 17 and Paris was 15 - before reconnecting and beginning a romance at her 16th birthday.
