Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff's fans were shocked on Wednesday to learn that the after nearly three years of marriage.

In the wake of reports that Qualley, 31, and Antonoff, 42, are no longer living together amid a 'rocky relationship,' body-language expert  has exclusively dissected the couple's seemingly cozy final appearance earlier this year.

The actress and music producer were last seen together in public when they appeared at the 68th annual Grammy Awards on February 1, 2026.

There, the apparently happy couple were seen posing up together, mingling with music stars, with Qualley propping her legs up onto Antonoff's lap.

According to James, the actress's demeanor at the awards ceremony doesn't initially signal troubled waters, but it was a colder Antonoff who appeared to display more troubling red flags.

She exclusively told The Daily Mail that photos of Qualley at the event showed 'intense body language rituals from her that would make a split come as a shock.'

'Margaret looks totally committed to their relationship here, taking every advantage to show off a sensual and besotted form of affection,' James continued.

The body-language expert also didn't see hints of tension between the couple when they were around other friends, including singer Sabrina Carpenter.

'When they chat to Sabrina [Carpenter], [Qualley] leans her torso back onto Jack's as though they are glued together,' James noted.

The body-language expert was far more troubled by Antonoff's expressions and demeanors at the Grammy Awards. 'Jack, though, appears to be immune to all this flirtation,' she said

'His smile looks sociable and polite here, and when Margaret places her feet between his legs in an ultimate attention-seeking display, he just looks distracted by his phone. Her flirting doesn't seem to be getting the appropriate body language responses here, making the romantic signals appear very one-sided,' James said

The news of the reported split comes after it emerged Qualley had quietly deleted photos of the pair's August 2023 wedding from her Instagram - pictured March 2025
