However, in March 2025, Brooke revealed she was postponing marriage because she was still recovering from the grief of losing her dad.
'Obviously Alex and I, one day, we're going to get married—hopefully—and live a happy life as everyone says,' Brooke said on YouTube.
'But we've had the hardest three years to go through as a family and I have no interest in getting married any time soon.'
Shane passed away on March 4, 2022. The legendary Australian leg-spinner died from a suspected heart attack in Koh Samui, Thailand, at the age of 52.
