Eva Longoria Stuns in Gingham Bikini at Beach

Eva Longoria enjoyed a family day at the beach with her husband José Bastón in Marbella on Tuesday.

The Desperate Housewives star, 51, who will celebrate her 10th wedding anniversary with the Mexican businessman, 57, next month was enjoying some spring sunshine in with her nearest and dearest.

The star rocked a gingham bikini and matching shirt as she soaked up the sun and had some quality time with her loved ones.

Eva accessorised her perfect beach look with dark shades as she doted on her son Santiago, seven.

José meanwhile looked casual in a long-sleeved top and dark trousers as he held hands with his stunning wife. 

The couple spent their day sunbathing before heading to a beach bar for some lunch.  

The stunner previously revealed the surprising secrets behind her happy marriage to José, admitting that she doesn't think of her husband as a 'best friend'. 

The pair first began dating in 2013, before going on to tie the knot three years later, and the actress noted that something that has always helped their relationship is the fact they 'don't compete for attention'.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, the Only Murders In The Building star gushed: 'He makes me laugh, and he's a really good partner, and he supports me in everything I do.'

It comes after Eva's former Desperate Housewives co-star Jesse Metcalfe revealed why his time on the primetime series was short-lived.

The 47-year-old actor was a guest on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, where he looked back on the early days of his career.

'I was fired from Desperate Housewives,' he told host Amanda Hirsch about his breakout role. 'After the first season they didn't really know where else to take my storyline.'

Metcalfe played John Rowland, a gardener with whom 's character Gabrielle Solis was having an affair.

He said on the podcast, 'Our creator Marc Cherry was like, "This isn't Desperate House Gardeners, This is Desperate Housewives, so unfortunately you're not going to be a series regular moving forward on the show."'

Instead, he was brought back intermittently. At that time I had been offered [the lead role in] John Tucker Must Die from 20th Century Fox, so I was like, hey, cool, no big deal. I'm going to be a movie star,' he recalled.
