David Charvet Faces Dog Hit-and-Run Accusation

A woman has accused Baywatch star of fatally striking her dog with his truck before taking off.

Vera Errico claims Charvet struck her 11-year-old dog early Thursday morning as she walked him on a leash through a gated Malibu community, according to TMZ.

The dog was rushed to the vet where he was sadly euthanized.  

Errico claims she was walking Sunday, her English Labrador, along with two other of her dogs on their leashes just before 6AM when Charvet drove by in his pick-up truck.

Charvet, 53, allegedly struck Sunday and drove out of the community without stopping. Errico believes Charvet called police only after driving out of the community.

She has been in contact with the Lost Hills sheriff station and they intend on dispatching deputies to her home to take a report, the station told TMZ. 

The Daily Mail has sought comment from Charvet and the Lost Hills Sheriff's Station but has not yet heard back. 

Charvet played Matt Brody on the beach rescue drama Baywatch from 1992-1996 and is father of two, son Shaya, 18, and daughter Heaven, 19.
