Between serving Box Combos and snapping photos, the couple chatted with media about life on tour, Valentine's Day plans and why Cane's hits all the right notes for a Valentine's date.
'I love that we get to dance together in front of a crowd on Valentine's Day this year. It feels really special,' said Bersten. 'We even have a number together, which makes it even better.'
Slater added that their Valentine's Day plans are all about keeping things simple.
'Nothing says Valentine's Day like watching us dance,' she said. 'We'll probably find a coffee shop, sit, chat and decompress. I'm romantic though. I already bought him chocolates.'
The couple also shared their excitement for recently announced DWTS Con, which they described as an immersive fan experience designed to recreate the magic of the ballroom with live panels, Q&As, shows and exclusive merchandise.

'We're foodies, so this is totally up our alley,' Slater said. 'It's honestly killing me that Cane's is right here in front of me and I haven't eaten it yet!'
Bersten didn't hesitate when it came to his Cane's order. 'I would totally get a full cup of Cane's dipping sauce,' he joked. 'The little cups aren't enough for four Chicken Fingers.'

Both agreed their favorite part of Cane's is the hand-battered, cooked-to-order Chicken Fingers, which are marinated for at least 24 hours and served fresh every time, and that the Restaurant makes the perfect Valentine's Day stop thanks to its comfort food and welcoming vibe.
