Sources speculated at the time that Feldman may have been suffering from pancreatitis or gallstones.

However, it was later revealed that Feldman had food poisoning, with and is out of the hospital.
On Wednesday, Feldman addressed the 'health scare' for the first time in an Instagram post promoting his brand new single, What Am I Here 4?
Feldman said he was initially 'misdiagnosed' by the doctor at the hospital with something more serious than food poisoning.

He alleged that 'someone on the medical staff' leaked the misdiagnosis to the media, which sparked the rumors about him possibly having pancreatitis or gallstones.

While many fans offered prayers and hopes for Feldman, some turned to him to satisfy their curiosity.
'What happened on the flight bro? Hope your ok [sic],' one concerned user wrote.
'Just saw online you were admitted to hospital 🤔,' wrote one concerned fan.

Some fans referenced one of Feldman's iconic 1980s films in their comments.

Feldman had been arriving back home from on Monday afternoon when paramedics met him at the flight gate.
A source told TMZ that he had been feeling very sick on the flight and was checked out by a doctor on board.

The insider claims that the physicians believed the issue might be pancreatitis or gallstones, though Feldman's representative subsequently told the Daily Mail that gallstones had been ruled out.
The Department told the site that they had responded to the airport for a patient who was experiencing a medical emergency.
A spokesperson for the public safety department said that the patient, a 54-year-old male, was transported to a local medical facility for further evaluation and treatment.
TMZ has also confirmed that it was Feldman who was undergoing tests at the hospital.
The star had a busy weekend as he reunited with his co-stars from the classic 1986 coming-of-age film Stand by Me, including Jerry O'Connell and Wil Wheaton.
The trio – in addition to Dan Pasternack, who served as host – participated in special Stand By Me Live events to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic movie, including one in Indiana on Saturday and another in Chicago on Sunday.
Stand by Me – directed by the aforementioned Reiner – is centered around a group of childhood friends who go on an adventure to find the body of a boy who went missing in the woods. The late actor River Phoenix was also one of the core cast members.
The celebration of the film's anniversary comes months after Feldman broke his silence on being excluded from the emotional tribute at the 98th Annual in March.
Many were shocked when his Stand by Me costars O'Connell and Wheaton were invited to take part in the tribute on stage during the ceremony, but the invite was not extended to Feldman.

'I think Jerry and Wil did what had to be done,' he told Entertainment Weekly while celebrating the film's 40th anniversary. 'It was a fleeting moment, so I don't feel like I missed much at all.
'I personally was probably maybe a little bothered by the fact that nobody got to speak or do or say anything from their own heart.'
Feldman said that 'it is what it is' before admitting that 'it felt a little bit like a family reunion I wasn't invited to.'
But the star added that 'we're not going to use this time to go into my feeling about that.
'Instead I just want to say that I'm with the rest of us, we're all very destroyed that things went down the way they did, losing Rob when we all thought he'd be joining us at some point for this tour and it's a tragedy.'
