Christie Swadling has been slammed for an unhygienic act in the kitchen.

The 27-year-old influencer shared a video of herself preparing Nutella protein energy balls for a friend who just had a baby.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, Swadling showed her 121,000 followers how to prepare the sweet treat, which consisted of Nutella, protein powder and oat flour.

But one eagle-eyed follower called her out when she stuck her ‘filthy nails’ into the bowl of mixture.

‘Yuk having her filthy nails all up in your food like that,’ the user messaged Swadling.

Re-sharing the DM hours later, Swadling lashed out at the fan and stood up for herself.

‘Sorry cooking for 2 newborn Mummas with pre-washed hands, organic ingredients plus the cleanest kitchen you’ll probably ever come across in your life .. but.. I have longish natural nails,’ she wrote.

‘Always someone.. btw this message was meant to be sent to a friend, I get them daily lol babes figure out how to use Instagram before spreading hate x.’

It comes after the influencer broke her silence following her rumoured split from fiancé Joel Price after he was served with a restraining order and charged with domestic violence-related common assault.

Price, 38, was served an interim Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) by NSW Police on behalf of Swadling, 27, in April. He has pleaded not guilty to the assault charge.

In a recent TikTok video, Swadling lay in bed and wasn’t wearing her engagement ring as she assured her fans the pair hadn’t broken up despite the AVO.

‘I can’t believe I’m still getting questions about this, but it’s about the current – apparent – breakup with Joel and I,’ she said in the clip.

‘Publicly, it seems to me there’s two main theories in why this is. First one is I haven’t been wearing my ring. The second one is, I have not been uploading any posts or anything with my fiancé Joel. Just FYI, if you have an engagement ring, you should not be wearing it in the shower, gym, or cleaning. So I take them off for all three.’

‘Secondly, my partner literally works for the mines,’ she added. ‘He’s the most busiest motherf***er I’ve ever met in my entire life. He sometimes works seven days a week, 16 to 18 hour days.

‘B***h, I ain’t got no time to take photos of him. And the days that he is home or we do have like spare moments, I don’t really want to f***ing spend it getting content with him. We just want to be present.’

The pair began dating in 2020 before Price got down on one knee and proposed the following year.

The matters were last mentioned in court on Tuesday, May 14 and will be heard in the same court on August 6.

The couple would often post videos and pictures together as they worked out at the gym and during lavish holidays, sometimes featuring Price’s 12-year-old son Kaden.

Swadling and Price are understood to still be following each other on social media.
