Laura Hamilton was forced to stop filming A Place in the Sun after the keys to a property went missing.
The TV star, 42, hosts the Channel 4 daytime show in which British couples look at luxurious homes abroad but recalled a time that ‘disaster’ struck during filming that brought everything to a halt.
She explained that shooting for an episode in Florida had to be abandoned after the keys were locked inside the abode so she was unable to show the potential buyers around.
She told The Sun: ‘There was once an episode that I did where, unfortunately, the keys for the property got locked inside the property, and we couldn’t film it.
‘That was a bit of a disaster. It was in Florida, but that was so many years ago. So we had to call a wrap on that and then show them the property the next day, which wasn’t obviously ideal. But it was just one of those things.’

She noted: ‘It was kind of like, who’s got the keys? Oh, God, you know, imagine that thing that kind of happens at home. Who’s got the keys? Who’s got the keys?’.
Just days ago, the MailOnline revealed that Laura is in a relationship with a married businessman.
She has been dating CEO James Pettigrew, 44, since January, her first romance after splitting from husband of nine years, Alex Goward.
Sources close to the couple say James has been ‘spending all his time’ with Laura, although this has ‘upset’ James’ estranged wife.
A friend told MailOnline Jackie was ‘unaware’ her husband was dating Laura at the beginning of their relationship, and is now going through a painful divorce.
Laura and James, who has two daughters with Jackie, were pictured smiling together at the Scottish FA Cup Final in May while enjoying corporate tickets to the match between Old Firm rivals Celtic and Rangers.

The former Dancing On Ice star described feeling like she had ‘failed’ amid their separation, which saw Laura move out of the couple’s Surrey family home.
She said: ‘We are co-parenting, and it works. But even that, you know, I kind of felt like I had failed.’
In February 2022, Laura purchased a new property and spent two years renovating the home before selling it earlier this year
