In a statement at the time, Cheryl said she felt 'indescribable pain' over telling Bear his father had passed away.
In their adorable Disney snaps, protective mum Cheryl is seen holding Bear's hand as they walked through ToyStory Land in the park.
Another capture showed the mother and son on a ride together, though Bear had lowered his head for the picture.
Cheryl and Liam started dating in 2016, and welcomed their son Bear the following year.
However, they announced their breakup in 2018, with Liam posting on social media at the time: 'We still have so much love for each other as a family.

'Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.'
It has been a difficult year for Cheryl, and in September 2025, her stalker was jailed yet again.
At the time, the court heard how convicted killer Daniel Bannister, 50, 'can't stay away' from the Girls Aloud star and he had 'scared her young child'.
At Reading Crown Court, a judge sentenced him to 12 months in jail after he admitted a single charge of breaching a restraining order.
In a victim impact statement, Cheryl revealed she is 'on edge every time I open my gate'.

Following the sentencing, sources close to Cheryl said she had been 'in a really bad place' but Bear is 'her world' and she wanted to just focus on him.
Cheryl was seen for the first time since Liam's funeral last October, as she stepped out to support her Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts at the gala of her West End Hadestown at the Lyric Theatre in London.
Prior to that, scenes of Liam in a 2019 documentary with Ant Middleton were reposted on TikTok, which showed how close he and Cheryl remained even after their split.

In the show, Ant Middleton & Liam Payne: Straight Talking, the pair travelled to Namibia for a hard-hitting survival adventure.
Ant then asked Liam about his relationship with Cheryl and Bear, and he said: 'We found our own unique situation around things, and obviously it's not the most normal situation in the world, granted.
'At this stage in my life, what even is normal anymore. For the majority of it, my life's really abnormal, so why would that be any different?'
Later in the programme, Liam continued to speak about Cheryl, admitting she's 'always been there for him,' and he still 'wants to protect her.'
He added: 'I was just worried that I would not be enough, to look after the both of them, do you know what I mean? That's so important to me, and I slowly but surely.
'As much as we're not together, she's one of the most important people, if not the most important person in my life.
'Even though we're not together together, Cheryl is always there for me, do you know what I mean? I'm lucky since I have someone who actually understands what it is I go through.
