After nearly a decade together, 's son and Shara Blue Mathes are now married.
The couple tied the knot at the historic Roosevelt Hotel in the heart of Hollywood on March 8 with the groom's famous mother in attendance.
In a new interview with People about their wedding, Chaz called Shara the 'love of my life' who has made him feel 'complete.'
'She makes me feel complete knowing she will always be there beside me as partner, my best friend, and the love of my life,' he told the publication. 'No matter what life brings us, we will always be safer and stronger together … and we are home.'
Chaz and Shara got together in January 2017, a decade after he began his transition from female to male, and got engaged in recent years.
As a child, before he transitioned, Chaz was known as Chastity and appeared on his very famous parents' variety show The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour.
Now an actor, he most recently appearing in American Horror Story and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Shara, from Hollywood, California, was 15 when she starred alongside a 16-year-old Jason Bateman in the TV comedy series 'It's Your Move'. The series ended in 1985.
