Brandi Glanville Criticized for Boring Sons Comment

Former star has come under fire after she branded her two sons as 'boring' for never trying cocaine and complained that she wants them to 'party a little more.'

Glanville, 53, admitted during this week's episode of her podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, that even she had done the drug before.

The topic came up as she and her co-host, James Maas, were discussing how the use of drugs can sometimes become a storyline on . 

'Well, I mean, let's be clear, we've all done cocaine in the '90s,' Glanville said during the episode.

'I haven't since fentanyl came out,' she continued, as Maas joked that she now uses drug testing strips to check cocaine for fentanyl.

While Glanville doesn't do cocaine anymore, she admitted that she did buy drug testing strips for her kids, sons Mason, 23, and Jake, 19, when they went off to college. 

'Luckily, my kids don't do cocaine because they're boring,' she then quipped.

'But that's okay, I love that they're boring, they don't even like to drink,' she continued.

'I'm like, "What do you do? Where's your life?" But I like it for them, not really... I just want them to party a little more.'

Her admission sparked backlash on X, with one user branding her statement as 'wild.'

'Calling your kids 'boring' because they don't do hard drugs is wild,' they wrote.

Another joked: 'Brandi just says anything.'

'What kind of parent says this? Cocaine seems like an exceptionally dangerous drug to mess with these days given the prevalence of fentanyl,' someone else typed. 

Glanville shares her two sons with ex-husband, actor Eddie Cibrian.

The Bravo star split from the actor in 2009 after it was revealed that he was having an affair with LeAnn Rimes, who he is currently married to.

The breakup was quite messy, as Glanville even admitted to slashing his tires as soon as she found out, according to Us Weekly.
