Sources claimed to the outlet that the move has put Bezos, 62, and Sanchez, 56, in favor with Wintour, 76, who uses the high-profile event to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, which she has spearheaded since 1995.
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Bezos, Sanchez and Wintour for comment.
'The Bezoses are where the American dream is at right now for status, wealth and style,' William Norwich, a former editor at Vogue, explained to Page Six.
