However, Aussie OnlyFans models such as Annie, 29, are in dismay as their million-dollar earnings take a hit after converting their US profits to AU.

Annie, who earns approximately $3.5 million a year, is losing $10,000 from her monthly $300,000 earnings after the Australian dollar reached around 70 US cents.

'I'll definitely be cutting back on my clothes and makeup spending this month - which some months can easily be $10,000,' she told Daily Mail.

'I'll also cut back on Uber Eats and dining out. I have no travel planned for the next month so I'll be able to save there.

'It's pretty easy to cut back and save an extra 10 grand to make up the revenue loss.'

Annie went on to say she is 'worried' about the US dollar continuing to drop, adding that her income would drop by $70,000 if it was ever 'on par' with the Aussie dollar.

'I know that would never happen though and unfortunately this is just life and it will continue to fluctuate,' she added.

'In a year's time it could be 1.66, which it was a couple of years ago and I could make back that money I've lost during it being low.

'It's just one of those things you have to accept.'

Annie also shared a video to her social media accounts expressing how unfair it is for Aussie OnlyFans stars who rely on a strong American dollar to get paid well in Australian dollars.

She said a stronger Aussie dollar is a good sign for the Australian economy, but has a crushing effect on Down Under OnlyFans stars.

'I started to notice when my payouts were arriving in my account they were a couple of $100 to a couple $1000 less than what I thought they were going to be,' she said.

'It just wasn't making sense. I looked up the conversion rate, and sure enough, it had dropped, and it keeps continuing to drop.

'It's actually wild how much, like, currency changes can impact our pay.'

Annie, who is engaged to partner Henry Brayshaw, went on to say 'it's crazy how much people underestimate the financial complexity of being an OnlyFans star'.

She pointed out online sex workers have to consider 'how to pay GST', how their taxes work, becoming a 'company versus sole trader', and conversion rates.

'Not many Aussies really have to think about this,' she said, adding that she was 'frustrated' OnlyFans won't pay her in Australian currency.

'I understand it would be too difficult to facilitate, but it can be really hard when things like this occur, because $10,000 a month is a huge loss,' she added.

'That's more than most people's monthly salary... I definitely say that this is the biggest hit that I've taken so far. I can't remember a time when it was this low.'

'It is not good, I don't know whether to let my money sit in hopes that it'll come back up or just take it out in case it continues to fall,' wrote Aussie sex worker Faith Isabel.

'Every report I have read is saying that it is going to continue to get weaker.'

One UK OnlyFans worker was also feeling the pain.

'I feel you on this! For every 20k USD I'm currently getting about 14k GBP. I loved it when I got 19k GBP about 5 years ago,' commented Victoria Peach.

'I think the worst was when I got 12k. I wish I lived in the USA so it didn't mess with my money.'

'Same thing against the Euro, I'm getting noticeably less money now,' said Lucy Huxley, who lives in Berlin.
