Anne Hathaways Favorite Thing About Aussie Actors

has revealed the surprising thing she loves most about working with Australian actors on film sets.

The glamorous American actress, 43, appeared on 's Sunrise on Wednesday morning and was asked what she particularly likes about working with Aussies.

The Devil Wears Prada actress admitted she loves the laid-back attitude of her Australian co-stars, which has included  in the 2012 movie Les Misérables and in The Hustle.

'I think playfulness. I think Aussie's are very private about taking it seriously... I think it is very, just, 'have a great time', the vibe is that nobody takes themselves seriously,' Anne said.

However, Anne added that she appreciated that Australian actors did in fact work hard, despite their laid-back appearance.

'Secretly, everyone is taking the work seriously,' she said.

Earlier this month, Patrick, 50, revealed why Sydney Sweeney's cameo in the movie 

The Australian actor revealed that the Euphoria star's role in the movie was removed for several different constraints.

'When putting a film together, things have got to go... and so Sydney Sweeney went! I never met her, but she was apparently in the opening sequence,' Brammall told the No Filter podcast.

He added that the Washington-born actress's role was omitted to improve the overall narrative flow of the film. 

'It is all for creative reasons and time, that sort of stuff. There were a few scenes that I shot that weren't in the movie,' he said.

The actress, 28, had been due to feature in a three-minute scene where she was styled by Emily Blunt's character, yet it was scrapped because 'it did not work structurally.'
