Anne also credited her husband, whom she wed in 2012, with holding down the fort while she works.

'I'm so lucky that he's my partner that I spend my life with.

'If I didn't know that before this past year, I think I really know it now because with absolutely everything he's just, he's on it. He holds it down,' she effused.

The longtime entertainer has five films hitting theaters this year, including the musical-drama Mother Mary, which came out in April.

She plays the movie's titular pop star, who 'reunites with her estranged best friend and former costume designer, Sam Anselm, on the eve of her comeback performance,' per IMDb.

The Odyssey is an adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic the Odyssey, which sees the titular Greek King embark on a perilous journey home after the Trojan War in a bid to reunite with his beloved wife Penelope.

Despite the film being in the trusted hands of Oscar-winning director Nolan, fans haven't quite got to grips with the casting yet.

While critics have showered the film with glowing reviews, online backlash over diverse and transgender casting choices has continued to grow ahead of its July 17 release

Fan backlash has been gathering over the hiring of black performers Lupita Nyong'o, Zendaya and Travis Scott in an adaptation of a Greek epic.

Trans actor Elliot Page has drawn brickbats as well, on account of his inclusion in the picture as an ill-fated young member of Odysseus' crew called Elpenor.

In what has been dubbed his 'most extreme project to date' alongside an incredibly starry cast - the pressure for Nolan to win over critics is like no other.

Already known for his impressive art and high-budget fare, Nolan's latest film could prove to be his most ambitious yet, with the $250million budget the most expensive of his career, his first shot entirely on IMAX 70mm cameras.
