Dannii Minogue has made a major announcement about career as she teased she has been in the studio making new music.
The presenter’s new gay dating show I Kissed a Girl is set to air on BBC iPlayer on May 5 as ten single women live together in a luxury Italian house in the hope of sparking a romance.
However, aside from her presenting career, it seems Dannii is also preparing to release new music as she gave an exclusive hint during an interview on The One Show on Thursday.
Speaking about her new dating show, Roman commented on how the producers had used some of her own music in the show.
Reading out questions from fans, one asked: ‘Can we expect anymore new music?’

Danni then teased: ‘I actually did go in the studio just before I left Australia so, I haven’t spoken about it.’
Delighted Roman replied: ‘Lovely little exclusive, so it is coming! Name of the song?’
Sadly that was all Dannii could reveal as she added: ‘Errr I can’t say because I love samples and mash ups and all that and I have done a lot of that over the years but there is a sample we are trying to push through and I want to make all the right checks and balances so I can’t say.’
It comes after Dannii fought back tears of pride as she launched the new gay dating show I Kissed a Girl and claimed that she ‘identifies as queer’.
The 10-episode series follows on from the gay male version of the show I Kissed A Boy last May and Dannii expressed how it was ‘surreal’ that there hadn’t been a show for lesbian and bisexual women until now.
Speaking at the series launch, she said: ‘This is so important. There hasn’t been a show for the girls in the reality gay dating world. It’s like we need this to happen. I’m hoping that there are parties up and down the country.’
The presenter also revealed she identifies as queer herself after the girls in the series made it clear they fancy the Australian in the first episode.
She declared: ‘I identify as queer in a weird way.’
Danni teased: ‘I actually did go in the studio just before I left Australia so, I haven’t spoken about it’. However the star said she couldn’t reveal any further details

Episodes one and two of I Kissed a Girl will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer on Sunday May 5. Episodes will air on BBC Three every Sunday and Monday night at 9pm
As one contestant, Amy from Surrey, commented that Dannii is ‘just my type’, Danni was asked if she is too attracted to women.
Laughing in the episode, Dannii replied: ‘You girls are hot. You know it. I love it. I’m here for it. Is that an answer?’
Dannii, who previously revealed she lost a handful of fans after she began hosting I Kissed A Boy, said she would love the series to win more awards.
‘I want this to go well, obviously. Everybody’s put everything on the line. I hope there are more series of this show, and more girls get the opportunity to have this experience.’
Holding back tears, she added: ‘You girls are so brave and amazing and have brought so much to it. I could never do what you have done.
‘I will always be in awe of what has happened and what we’ve created. I feel so proud. You’re stepping forward, and you’re the first crew of girls representing in this space, and it is big.’
Producers have promised the new series will ‘serve drama, smash stereotypes, and promise more twists and turns than ever.’
The unique spin on the I Kissed A… format sees the contestants share a kiss with their partner before ever saying a word to each other.
Couples are matched up based on what they’re looking for in a partner, with their chemistry tested straight away to see if that first kiss will lead to love.
Episodes one and two of I Kissed a Girl will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer on Sunday May 5. Episodes will air on BBC Three every Sunday and Monday night at 9pm.
