Britney Spears reunited with her mom Lynne Spears for her 42nd birthday on Friday night, as they appeared to put their explosive feud behind them.

Another adorable photo showed Britney holding her mom in her arms as she twirled her in the air.
The pop icon, who had an emergency with her puppy during Friday’s birthday bash, was also spotted leaving her manager’s house on Saturday alongside her mom, who reportedly spent the night, according to TMZ.
The duo appeared to be on good terms as they said goodbye to each other, per photos obtained by the outlet, which comes after years of them being estranged following Britney’s fallout with the family over her 13-year conservatorship.

Britney and Lynne’s feud began after the pop star claimed Lynne didn’t lift a finger to help free Britney of the 13-year conservatorship she was placed under in 2008, which was controlled by Britney’s father Jamie Spears.
Britney most recently feuded with her mother over claims that her mother threw out her childhood dolls and journals from her former family home.
Insiders claimed that her mother had been selling off her possessions both online and at a local consignment shop in Louisiana in recent years.
A source close to the Spears family claimed that Lynne had raked in ‘thousands of dollars’ from the sales, while claiming that Britney had ‘no clue’ what was happening.
Among the items allegedly sold was a hat the Stronger singer wore to the Billboard Music Awards in 2000, as well as Butterfly boots featured at the 2003 Kids’ Choice Awards and a top worn for an appearance on MTV’s TRL in 2002.
In Britney’s memoir, The Woman In Me, the singer had claimed that her childhood dolls and journals had been removed, and Lynne subsequently denied having sold the items, saying she wouldn’t be so ‘cruel’ to her daughter.
‘When Britney would come home early in her career, she would unload her clothes at her mom’s house in Kentwood. This also included things she wore on tours and her personal clothes,’ an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively.
‘She has no clue and would be fuming if she did.’

In response to Lynne’s denial, Britney claimed on Instagram that on a more recent visit home, she found several dolls that had previously been missing,
She took their appearance as evidence that her mother had returned or replaced them, though it was too late to be of use to her.
