Big Brother’s Kerry broke down in tears during in Sunday’s episode while admitting she felt ‘rubbish’ after hearing the live eviction crowd chant ‘get Kerry out’ on Friday.
NHS manager Kerry, from Essex, had previously been up for eviction from the Big Brother house in the first week but had not been put forward during Friday’s live elimination.
Zak, a model from Manchester, became the second housemate to be sent home after losing out in the public vote to Henry, a food writer from the Cotswolds.
Kerry admitted on Sunday that she does not ‘really know what to do now’.
She said in the Diary Room: ‘They were chanting “get Kerry out” and it sounded like there was about 50,000 people.
Shocked: Big Brother’s Kerry broke down in tears during in Sunday’s episode while admitting she felt ‘rubbish’ after hearing the live eviction crowd chant ‘get Kerry out’ on Friday
Unimpressed: She said: ‘They were chanting “get Kerry out” and it sounded like there was about 50,000 people’
‘It just felt a bit rubbish and you think, oh god, what’s my son going through? What’s my family going through?’
She added that her not being a ‘big Zak fan’ could be the reason that Big Brother fans were not ‘going to be very happy’ with her, at one point pondering if the chanting could have come from Zak’s family.
‘I’m hoping it’s that,’ Kerry told Big Brother as she got tearful, adding: ‘It’s really tough.’
Many viewers took to Twitter after watching Kerry try to rationalise the chanting, with one person writing: ‘Nah not kerry thinking people were chanting to get her out cos she didn’t gel with Zak hahahaha.’
Another viewer asked: ‘Kerry thinking the chanting was from Zak’s family?’
While someone else posted: ;Kerry thinking those that were chanting to get her out were only fans of Zak HAHAHAHA.’
One other baffled show fan questioned: ‘Does Kerry seriously think all those 50,000 people she heard chanting her name were Zak’s family?’
Mentioning Anfield, the football stadium in Liverpool, another person wrote: ‘”It sounded like there were 50,000 people!” Yes Kerry, a crowd the size of Anfield gathered just to boo you…’
Theory: Kerry reasoned that the ‘50,000 people’ chanting to get her out could have been evicted housemate Zak’s (pictured) fans or family
Views: Many viewers took to Twitter after watching Kerry try to rationalise the chanting to express their opinion, with some being shocked while others sympathised with her
Someone else wrote: ‘OMG Kerry is that deluded trying to blame others but herself for why the crowd were chanting ”GET KERRY OUT”, she’s a vile person and lacks any self awareness.’
Taking a more sympathetic view, someone wrote: ‘I think Kerry is such a drama queen and overbearing to watch at times but I think the feeling of hearing “GET KERRY OUT” would be so hard to process. As much as it’s only a small crowd outside, it must feel like the whole world hates you, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.’
While one other person shared: ‘As much as I’m not the biggest fan of Kerry. The human side of me does feel a bit bad for how much her mind must be going a hundred miles an hour wondering why the public hates her.’
And another viewer posted: ‘While Kerry has made her bed, I do feel bad for a in a way. Imagine finding out so many people hate you. It sucks for her but a lot of it is self inflicted.’
Zak was the second person to be evicted from the house on Friday night.
The model went head-to-head in the public vote against food writer Harry.
In his first interview after leaving the house on Big Brother: Late & Live, Zak said it was ‘nerve-wracking’ but he was happy to hear ‘people cheering’ as he departed the house into a live studio audience.
‘I’ve had quite a few conflicts here and there… Henry has not had any conflicts in the house. I was talk of the house for the few days before the nominations,’ he told presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best.

Zak, who lasted 14 days in the house, was reminded of a chat he had with Olivia who later called him ‘sexist’.
‘When I get bored I like to wind people up,’ he said, before telling the co-hosts the next reality show he would like to appear on is I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Make-up artist Farida was the first contestant to be voted off the show after she and Kerry received the most nominations from fellow housemates.
