Tabitha Willett Drops from Size 14 to 8 with Weight Loss Injections, Pauses for Side Effects

Made In Chelsea star Tabitha Willett has revealed she has dropped from a size 14 to a size eight by using weight loss drug Mounjaro.

Appearing on co-star Olivia Bentley’s Private Parts podcast, the mother-of-one, 33, detailed how entering her 30s and becoming a mother meant she could not lose weight as easily anymore so turned to the popular jabs for help.

Admitting there is a stigma around the prescription-only drug, which is used for weight loss and the treatment of Type 2 diabetes, she defiantly insisted her busy life led her to using the drug to help shed her excess weight.

While she admitted she shirks controversy around her choice due to her low dose and only injecting fortnightly, she also confessed she stopped taking the drug all summer after she was left struggling to drink alcohol.

The star, who is mother to daughter Ottilie, six, with ex Fraser ‘Frank’ Carruthers, spoke about appearing on a recent episode of the E4 show in her underwear and detailed how she would never have taken the plunge before her weight loss.

Speaking to both Olivia and fellow Made In Chelsea star Tiffany Watson, Tabitha detailed how she swapped from popular jab Ozempic to other brand Tirzepatide, also known as Mounjaro, after being left nauseous by the drug.

She said: ‘I started on Ozempic last year and I just found it made me feel so sick…

‘I think when you hit your 30s and after you’ve had a child, you just can’t shift weight like you used to. I used to skip dinner and wake up the next morning and have a flat tummy and it just doesn’t happen like that anymore…

‘You wake up one morning and it just doesn’t happen. As proud as I was of my body and things that, I was also going back on TV, I was around beautiful people like Liv and stuff and Sophie Hermann and things and I’m like I’m just sick of this…

‘I don’t want to write myself off just yet, I want to feel loud and proud.’

She then spoke about her saucy MIC scenes, saying: ‘In an episode that’s just aired on Made In Chelsea, I did a whole shoot, a whole scene, in just my underwear. If you told me I was going to do something like that a year ago I would have said no.

Tiffany interjected: ‘My friend messaged me saying what has Tabitha done, she looks so good!’

Confirming just how she had acheived her new look, Tabitha professed: ‘Mounjaro! It’s changed my face as well. People shame it. There’s this massive stigma like ‘oh you couldn’t do it naturally, so you shouldn’t do it’…

‘I’m like, no sorry, we’re all bloody busy and Mounjaro does help. I take the lowest dose and I probably take it every two weeks. So I went from a size 12 to 14 to a size eight like that [clicks her fingers].’

Olivia asked: ‘So do you now take it forever or do you slowly come off it?’

She replied: ‘To be honest, I haven’t taken it all summer because I find it difficult to have a drink on it. [You take it by] injection…

‘You can either have an injection in your tummy which makes me feel a bit weird because that’s where the babies are. Or you can do it on your hide.’

Tabitha, who is is a childrenswear editor at The Wedding Edition, has dipped in and out of MIC, having first joined the show in 2018 for season 15, before leaving and coming back for season 18 and season 23 and has now returned for season 29.

Tabitha and Fraser, a friend of Prince Harry, dated for four years after meeting when she was hired as a marketing director at his private members’ club Albert’s.

In 2019, they were engaged in Miami with plans to marry at London’s Hurlingham Club the following July but had to cancel their wedding due to the pandemic.

However, in October 2020, a year after Ottilie was born, they announced they had split. She shared the news on Instagram, writing: ‘After months of consideration and many long and thoughtful conversations, Fraser and I have decided to separate…

‘As you can imagine, this is an incredibly hard time for us as a family. This year has provided so many uncertainties and forced us to postpone and eventually cancel our wedding as well as being new and full time parents and government closures of businesses…

‘Ottilie is our world and remains our number one priority. We also share so much love and respect for one another and our beautiful daughter and we are eager for her to grow up watching us mature into a modern family, as close friends.

‘Fraser is the most incredible father and it fills me with great sadness that we have been unable to make our relationship work. We still love each other very much and know that our future is better and more stable this way.’
