Zendayas Mom Responds to Secret Wedding Rumors

's mother has reacted to claims her daughter has secretly married after her hairstylist let slip the wedding 'has already happened'.

He said to Access Hollywood: 'The wedding has already happened. You missed it.'

When pressed by a reporter, Roach confirmed with a laugh, 'It's very true.'

Now, Zendaya's mother Claire Stoermer has responded to the moment from the carpet.

She shared a clip from Zendaya's stylist's interview on her Instagram Story with a laughing emoji.

She cryptically added: 'The laugh...'

Claire, who is a former teacher from Oakland, California, has been a significant influence on her daughter's life and career.

Zendaya previously said how her mother's dedication to teaching in underfunded inner-city schools inspired her so much she would have become a teacher if not for acting. 

Zendaya had sparked marriage speculation in February when she was spotted wearing a simple gold band during an outing in Beverly Hills.

But whispers about the couple's relationship status first began more than a year earlier at the 2025  Awards, when the 29-year-old actress debuted a dazzling diamond on her left-hand ring finger.  

A few months later, Tom, 29, addressed the rumors in a charming moment during a panel event.

When an off-camera reporter referred to Zendaya as his 'girlfriend' while mentioning meeting his daughter, Holland couldn't help but correct him with a laugh.

'Fiancée,' he clarified.  

The Spider-Man star previously said how they are both determined to keep their love affair private because it has 'nothing to do with' their acting careers. 

He told The Hollywood Reporter: 'Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible.

'We don't think that we owe it to anyone, it's our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.'

Zendaya shared similar comments in an interview with GQ, declaring the couple's relationship is 'sacred' and she wants to keep it that way.

She explained: 'The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own.

'I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.'

The following year rumours swirled the pair had grown close during filming, though they downplayed any romance at the time.

They eventually confirmed their relationship in July 2021 after being photographed kissing in a car.
