Zendaya Reveals Love for Tom Holland in Drag!

It is the question people have been asking for years... Why did , one of Hollywood's most gorgeous and successful actresses, pick diminutive and 'slightly wimpy' British star as her soulmate?

Last week the star flaunted her gold wedding band as she proudly stood alongside her husband on the red carpet to promote their latest film Spider–Man: Brand New Day – finally confirming they had tied the knot after months of rumours.

And today The Mail on Sunday can reveal the moment friends say Zendaya, 29, fell for Holland, 30.

The actress became 'smitten' after seeing Holland – dressed in drag in black leather and heels – perform a raunchy version of 's hit song Umbrella on a US TV show.

His rain–soaked performance on reality show Lip Sync Battle in 2017 has since gone viral, racking up more than 173million views on – but friends say that, until now, no one realised it is what 'sealed the deal' as far as she was concerned.

A source said Zendaya admitted she 'fell hard for him' then, adding: 'It's not just sexy but it shows how amazingly talented he is. It takes a lot of confidence for a straight guy to pull off drag.

'When he was announced as Spider–Man, people were taken aback because he's slightly wimpy,' the source added. 'But what he lacks in stature he more than makes up for in talent.'

The couple appeared on Lip Sync Battle together, filmed in May 2017, to promote their first Spider–Man film.

Viewers saw a stunned Zendaya watching Holland before she burst into laughter. The source said: 'You can see the shock on her face but then the admiration. I'm sure it's something they will show their kids one day.'
