The singer, 33, was set to appear at Circuit, Kingston at 9pm on April 13 for a special One Night Only show playing new tracks from his new album KONNAKOL.

After falling 'sick', concert promoter Banquet Record announced on Instagram the disappointing news that the show had to be postponed.

Days later, Zayn revealed he is still being treated in hospital as he thanked fans for their understanding.

He wrote: 'To my fans – thank you to all of you for your love & support now & always. Been a long week and am still unexpectedly recovering.

'Heartbroken that I can't see you all this week, I wouldn't be in the place I am today without you guys and am so thankful for your understanding.'

However, after falling 'sick', concert promoter Banquet Record announced on Instagram the disappointing news that the show is postponed

Zayn shared a message: 'I'm really sorry but unfortunately I am sick and I won't be able to make it to the UK this week as planned. We're already in the process of trying to reschedule'

Fans sent their well wishes to the star but many were left feeling disappointed by the news and it seems many were already travelling to see the 1D star

'I’m already in London I spent so much money for the plane I’m so disappointed; Hope you feel better Zayn.'

The cancelled gig originally offered fans a one night only experience to hear Zayn's new tracks from his upcoming album, KONNAKOL.

Fans would have participated in a Q&A, and been treated to exclusive footage ahead of the album's release.

Zayn also intended to take a large group photo with the audience, which would be printed as a poster for fans to purchase on the way out.

It comes after Zayn announced his biggest solo tour ever with 31 dates worldwide.

The singer will headline arenas and stadiums across North America, South America, Mexico and the UK.

It's a milestone step for Zayn, who cancelled previous live dates due to 'extreme anxiety'.

The tour kicks off on 12th May 2026 at Manchester's AO Arena, with Zayn making stops in Glasgow and Birmingham before rounding off his only European shows this year with a show at London's The O2 on Saturday 23rd May ahead of the UK Spring Bank Holiday.

Zayn will also perform dates in Los Angeles, Mexico City, São Paulo, and more before concluding on Friday 20th November in Miami, FL at Kaseya Center.

Earlier this week Zayn announced his fifth studio album, KONNAKOL, which will be released on 17th April 2026 and is available for pre-order now.

One Direction star Zayn has been open about his struggles with crippling anxiety throughout his solo career, which led to the cancellation of several high-profile gigs, including pulling out of the 2016 Capital Summertime Ball performance in London at the last minute.

In 2024, Zayn was due to perform at the Newcastle City Hall as part of his Stairway to the Sky UK tour.

But ahead of the show a tannoy announcement said that the performance would 'no longer go ahead' as fans were left in shock.

Zayn then took to his Stories at the time and wrote: 'I'm so sorry to do this but my voice just isn't there at all tonight and without it there's no show.

'I'm truly sorry to let you down, especially at such short notice... I held onto hope until the very last moment. I'm hopeful with some rest tonight I'll be back on stage tomorrow.

'My deepest apologies Newcastle. Love you all.'

The news of his new album comes after his former bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan all dropped new albums this year.
