Love Island's announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Elliott Love on Monday.

The former Miss Great Britain, 30, who appeared on the show back in 2016, took to Instagram with a sweet snap as she debuted her blossoming baby bump.

Zara was positively glowing as she lovingly cradled her tummy, while posing in a figure hugging maxi dress and shades on the UK's hottest May day ever recorded.

She penned: 'Baby Love On The Way. Due September. We are so excited & we love you so much already'.

Zara's time in the Love Island villa was notoriously turbulent and after indulging in a steamy night of passion with Alex Bowen, she was stripped of her title as Miss Great Britain.

Days after she was told she had her crown revoked due to her 'disappointing' behaviour, she heard that her mother had fallen ill and left the show to be at her side.

She previously told OK! magazine: 'Before I even went into the villa, my mum said, "Don't sleep with anybody." So I let my mum down, and that really still upsets me.

She and Elliot married in an idyllic three-day Greek wedding in 2023, after seven years of dating and said it was the happiest day of their lives.

In an exclusive interview at the time, Zara said: 'It was the best day of our lives… it was perfect. I can't put it into words'.

'It was a three-day wedding, the first day we did a welcome dinner at a family run Greek restaurant called Louizidis Tavern, it was a proper traditional Greek night, and we had a Greek band, and it was family sharing style food.

'The second day was the wedding and the third day we did a pool party, which was all white themed. We flew out of Heathrow airport with about 14 suitcases, it looked like we were immigrating!'.

Zara revealed she was late by 15 minutes to her own wedding but that didn't take away from her grand entrance as she walked down the aisle on her proud father's arm to the music of a harp and violin playing.

She said: 'It was such a special moment having my dad walk me down the aisle. I wanted to keep it as traditional as possible, even the night before we spent separately'.

Back in 2021  the couple were intercepted at Barbados airport last year and faced a jail sentence of up to a year, before both being let off with fines.

Zara was believed to have returned home without her partner, when she was seen sat alone before boarding a Virgin Atlantic flight to Manchester at the Grantley Adams International Airport.

Meanwhile, Elliot was forced to stay in the island's mosquito-ridden Paragon Isolation Centre until he was clear of the virus and had to pay a heavy fine to the country.

Following the offence Love managed to escape jail and received a reduced fine after his lawyer argued he was a 'simple guy', who owned a small demolition company and worked for £450-a week.

Elliot was fined £1,400 less than his famous partner - despite him being prepared to get on a packed holiday jet while infected with the virus.

Zara was ordered to pay a heftier fine before fleeing the country due to her compliance in the offence, despite not testing positive herself.

The former Miss England jetted back to Britain just hours after she was ordered to pay her fine or go to jail for nine months for breaching the island's tough Covid rules.
