Will Ferrell’s son, Magnus, revealed the mortifying stunt his dad pulled on the night of his high school prom in a now-viral TikTok video.

On Monday, his firstborn, 20, shared a hilarious post about what it’s like to be the child of one of Hollywood’s funniest actors, who is a notorious prankster.

The recording begins with the USC student taking a selfie in a recording studio with the words ‘rating things my dad has done’ written across the photo.

The second picture showed The Anchorman star, 56, dressed as a Medieval Lord, posing next to Magnus, who wore a black and white checkered suit and black-and-white polka dot shirt.

‘Dressed as a medieval lord to embarrass me at prom 10000/10,’ Magnus wrote across the image. ‘True story.’

It will come as no surprise to anyone who is a fan of funnyman Will Ferrell , 56, but he's been known to prank his kids

Commenters didn’t let the fact that Magnus’ dad wasn’t just any old Gen X dude just slide by.

‘I would personally be OK with that because he’s Will Ferrell,’ one person wrote, while another quipped: ‘Bros soft launching Will Ferrell being his dad.’

Ferrell is dad to three sons, whom he shares with wife Viveca Paulin, 55,  – Magnus, Mattias, 17, and Axel, 14.

But that prank was back in high school, now, that Magnus is in college, his dad steps in for cool things they both enjoy – such as DJing Magnus’ fraternity party.

Magnus is a Sigma Alpha Mu at USC where his dad was a member of Delta Tau Delta.

This past fall, he asked his famous father to step in and DJ a set at one of his fraternity parties.

In a TikTok video, the alumni of the USC class of 1990 could be seen clapping alongside students to Survivor’s Eye of the Tiger as he manned the DJ booth.

Ferrell was outfitted for the Trojan Family Weekend party, wearing his headphones on top of his backward USC cap.

Last month, it was revealed that the veteran film actor is making the move to scripted television in a series for Netflix.

The actor is set to portray a veteran golfer who becomes the face of a controversial new league in the show called Golf.

The show will see Ferrell returning to the sports comedy genre, which he explored in Semi-Pro (2007) and Blades Of Glory (2008).
