What’s Love Got To Do With It? actor Gene Allen dead at 63 after ‘sudden passing at home’ leaving family in ‘shock’

Rapper and Hollywood movie star Gene Allen has died at the age of 63.

The star, whose middle name was ‘Groove,’ passed away suddenly at home, leaving his family in shock, it has been claimed.

The family also told TMZ that Gene died on Wednesday. 

Gene appeared in a number of movies like the 1990 comedy House Party and its sequel, as well as the 1993 Tina Turner film What’s Love Got to Do With It? starring Angelina Bassett.

And he played a ‘street photographer’ in the 1992 movie Boomerang with Eddie Murphy, Robin Givens and Halle Berry. 

His last Instagram post was from four days ago where he was seen singing with a microphone at a party and saying, ‘I aint playin’.’
