A women's activist group has claimed responsibility for the downfall of the Kyle and Jackie O radio program after pressuring advertisers to boycott the show.

KIIS FM's parent company ARN announced on Tuesday that 's $100million contract had been terminated after she told executives she 'cannot continue to work with co-star ' following two decades on air together.

The decision followed a recent on-air clash that reportedly left Henderson in tears.

Sandilands has been suspended and given 14 days to 'remedy' the breach, or he will face termination.

The KIIS FM breakfast show has since been taken off-air, with the network saying 'interim arrangements' are being made for the timeslot.

Women's online platform Mad F****** Witches was quick to celebrate the news.

In 2024, the group launched a high-profile campaign titled 'Vile Kyle', aimed at mobilising public and advertiser backlash against Sandilands over a series of offensive and misogynistic on-air remarks.

Several major brands, including AMP, Bendigo Bank, Flight Centre and AustralianSuper, later withdrew or reviewed their advertising with the show.

MFW has since persistently lobbied advertisers to withdraw funding from not only the Kyle and Jackie O Show but also, more recently, Channel Seven’s Australian Idol, where Sandilands appears as a judge.

'We did it,' the group boasted to its 94,000 followers on Tuesday night.

'Because it's been our hard, relentless pressure over the past (almost) two years which has led to this result.

'Our enormous effort in recording all the foul things Kyle says, which has led to the relentless attention on him and him thus imploding on air and (allegedly) breaching his contract.

'And we have reason to believe our involvement in this demise is even greater than we can currently say … but we hope to be soon able to do so.

'Rest assured the violent and disgraceful threats issued against us by Kyle in past months have NOT gone down well at ARN, and in conjunction with Jackie's taking a stand against his treatment of her (as he treats ALL women he decides to treat like shit), the pressure on ARN to act became absolutely overwhelming.

'We'll have far more to say in coming days on this but for now, please celebrate with us.

In August 2019, Jones suggested that then-PM Scott Morrison should shove a sock down the throat of his NZ counterpart over comments she made about climate change.

MFW boasts on its website that more than 530 advertisers withdrew from his radio show before Jones announced his sudden departure from 2GB nine months later.

Henderson, 51, had been AWOL from the Kyle & Jackie O show since February 20 after Sandilands, 54, accused Henderson of being unfocused at work.

During the on-air feud, Henderson broke down in tears when the pair were discussing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Sandilands got angry at her when she proceeded to read out the disgraced royal's birth chart.

He lambasted his co-star, claiming that her love for astrology was affecting her work.

When Henderson attempted to defend herself and accused him of launching an attack on her, he stated he was only expressing the 'facts'.
